Your POV.

"A-are you serious?" I asked.

"...Yes," he nodded. He was shaking a little. Then he suddenly stopped. He looked at me, straight into my eyes, and started to speak.

It all began when Octopus joined Shield. He was 'good' for 2 and a half months. Then, he betrayed us. Villans attacked us. Otto was still acting like he was a good guy. He said that it was all his fault and he has to make it right. He got away to 'fight'. Spider-Man asked me to go after him and bring him back.

I found him.

He stood on the top of the building. I approached from behind him. We all called our base home, so I told him that "we have to go home". He said, that he'd "take me home". Before I could do anything, he attacked me. He knocked me out. When I woke up I was tied up. My nightmare began.

Every. Single. Day. He would wake me up by pouring a bucket of water on me. It was cold. When I wasn't asleep anymore he would take me to a room filled with weapons. He would torture me... In many ways. He was cutting me, he was shocking me with teasers, he was tossing me through glass when he wanted to check how strong it was, sometimes he'd just tie me up and use me as a punching bag. He kept telling me that nobody will save me,  he almost drowned me, almost burnt me alive, almost buried me alive... The only food he was giving to me was poisoned. I knew about it because he told me.

During the first few days, I was still hopeful... I  kept acting as if he wasn't hurting me at all. But after a few days, he broke me. I couldn't take it anymore. I was screaming. I was begging him to stop. He didn't. He hurt me even more. He probably broke every single bone in my body. He returned to his usual villain activities too, and when something went wrong, he'd be angry. He'd be angry, he had weapons, and I wasn't able to get away from him.

After 2 weeks I wasn't able to walk. Around that time, he took a photo of me and told me that he'd show it to Spider-Man. I guess he did it. Then, he discovered that I couldn't walk, and the took me to a new room and threw me to the ground. At first, I thought it wasn't dangerous, but after 10 seconds the blades came out. From the floor. Then he hid them just to pull them out again. Then he made them automatic. Every 10 seconds they were pulled out for 5 seconds at random heights in random places. After 2 hours, I finally crawled out. Then, he'd just throw me inside again. And again. And again-

"...Scarlet," I got his attention. "You're... hurting yourself!" I pointed out. He was digging his nails into his hand to the point it seemed to be bleeding.

"Really? And what?" he asked sharply. His bleeding wasn't the only thing that worried me about him. He was shaking and, despite the mask, I could see him biting his lip.

"You.... you don't have to tell me everything... if you don't want to..." I assured him.

"I want to! But it's hard... harder than I thought it'd be," he admitted. I hugged him. He was still shaking, but a little less. I quietly wished to feel all the pain from healing before putting a hand over the wound he created on his, and it seemed to have worked. "I'll... go on..." he said.

As I said, I wasn't able to walk after 2 weeks. Do you want to know how long I've been tortured by him? One and a half months! On the day that ended, I was lying on the ground in the room with automatic blades. Otto left the room for some time. I heard his footsteps, and at this point, I could recognize him by that sound. Then suddenly, I heard explosions. Someone was shouting. There was a fight somewhere above me. I knew that Otto had many doors in his 'home', so I knew that no one would be able to find me. If anyone were looking for me.

I crawled to the doors. When I was about to get away from the blades one of them stabbed me right next to my heart. As I learned later, 3 millimeters from it. I decided to don't give up and die somewhere else. I have no idea how, but I opened the door. I crawled into the hall. I heard footsteps, even though the battle two floors away was still happening. Those weren't the footsteps of Otto either. Someone was running down the stairs. He was calling me. I finally recognized him.
