Awsten woke up the next morning feeling a little better than he had before. He sat up, yawning and stretching his arms a bit before turning over and resting his head back on the pillow.

He hadn't slept without interruption for a long time. It was a nice feeling.

"Morning sleeping beauty."

Awsten gasped, his eyes darting up and relaxing when he realized it was just Geoff. He smiled a bit, a blush coating his cheeks as he mumbled, "Morning."

"Sleep well?" The brunette asked as he walked into the kitchen, beginning to make himself a cup of coffee.

The smaller boy nodded, playing with his fingers awkwardly. He wasn't good at making conversation, especially with strangers. To make matters worse his anxiety was through the roof. Now that he was more awake and aware of the situation he hed began to question it a little bit. Why did he think sleeping over at a stranger's house was a good idea? Luke was going to kill him.

He bit his lip, he definitely felt bigger today. The urge to go into headspace almost completely gone and he felt comfortable acting his age.

"Want any coffee?" Geoff suddenly asked from the kitchen.

Awsten glanced up, shaking his head softly before standing up from the couch and pulling out his phone. He grimaced as he saw a few messages from Luke, none of them nice at all. He swiped those away before he had the chance to consider responding and looked at the time, raising an eyebrow when he saw it was almost three pm.

He wasn't used to sleeping late, in fact he almost never got more than a few hours in. He was a bit confused on why the man hadn't woken him up sooner, wasn't he mad? Luke always yelled at him if he overslept.

Awsten put his phone away, awkwardly looking up at Geoff and shifting his weight from foot to foot until the man glanced up, meeting his gaze.

"Are you ready to go home?" he asked, sipping on his coffee. He could sense that the boy was clearly uncomfortable, and he couldn't really blame him. It wasn't everyday you spend the night with a complete stranger. He wasn't even sure what had gotten into him, he was never this nice. Maybe it was the loneliness getting to him.

The blue haired boy nodded, looking down and tugging his sleeves past his hands. As much as he didn't wanna go home, he also knew he couldn't stay here any longer.

"Alright, let me grab my keys and I'll take you," Geoff said, walking down the hallway.

Awsten stood awkwardly, nodding to himself as he waited. A few moments later Geoff came out, motioning to the door and Awsten followed him.

The car ride was mostly silent other than the younger boy giving a few directions. If it weren't so awkward Geoff would've asked him a few questions, but he knew he probably wouldn't get any answers. The blue haired boy's whole demeanor had almost completely changed overnight. He seemed a lot more aware of what was going on, and he wasn't stuttering anymore. It was like he was a completely different person.

Geoff didn't bother to question it though, assuming that after this he'd never see the boy again anyway. So what was the point?

A few minutes later Geoff was pulling up beside a decent sized house, the outside decorated nicely with fairy lights and flowers. He felt a bit of relief, he was honestly a little worried that Awsten was homeless. He wouldn't know what to do in that situation.

"Thanks," the blue haired boy mumbled, his eyes wide as he looked out the window at the house. He slowly opened the door, gulping and stepping out.

"Any time," Geoff said. "Be safe, okay?"
