The next early morning I woke up to feeling long finger tips stroke my face rather gently, trying not to hurt me I suppose. I opened my eyes half lidded due to the lack of sleep I had had from the night before, He gave me a quivered smile. " I sh- shall be out for today, I-I've left Horace in charge if you need anything, I'll be back by sundown."
I gave him a quick smile indicating an understanding as he trudded off and left the house. After a couple minutes I started to awaken, I slowly stumbled out of bed and looked around for Horace as I spotted him on the living room shelf next to an old dusty picture frame, curiosity suddenly struck me as I carefully picked up the frame and wiped off the dust to reveal a extremely old black and white photograph of a solider dated from 1916. "thats just about when the great war took place...no wonder he talks about it so frequently..." I thought. I looked to Horace. "Do you know who this is Horrace?"
There was no answer of course...but...I did get quite lonely here. This place was so barren....so...lost.
"Hm...oh well....Hey uh guys?"
I look to all of salad fingers "friends" in the room. "What do you all say we have a little get together with some tea at the supper table?"
