Tom's POV:

"Oh my god, Edd! We need to get him to the hospital, quickly!" I said and carefully picked Tord up brydal style. I looked over at Edd and Matt. They both nodded in agreement and we sprinted towards the hospital.

I looked down at Tord who was unconscious in my arms. Blood was dripping from his mouth and he didn't look calm.

We rushed into the hospital. We started yelling. "Please, help us!" "We don't know what happened to him!" "Help him, somebody!" Some doctors eventually came, they looked at him and they took him immediately.

They placed him on some kind of bed with wheels and they rushed him into the...surgery room? A young nurse told us to stay in the waiting room and tried to comfort us. But it didn!t work. Edd and Matt were telling things to calm themselves down as well.

I just sat there, staring at the ground, trying not to cry. Seconds, minutes and hours passed and nothing was happening, until we heard something we never wanted to hear...

"We're losing him!" I shot up and even though the nurses tried to stop me, Edd and Matt, we ran into the surgery room. We gasped when we saw it. The doctors tried to keep Tord alive, but the monitor was going slower...and slower...and slower until...it stopped.

There was a loud and long beep coming from the machine. I couldn't take that anymore and I started to scream and cry. Edd and Matt did the same. 'No...I can't jus tlet him die on us...' I thought and wiped my tears away.

I walked closer to Tord's liveless body. Blood was not coming out of his mouth anymore, but that didn't change the fact that...he's gone. But I did not want to accept that.

Everything fell silent. I took Tord's hand and put it on my chest. I started crying even more. "Tord...no... Please, come back..." I said through my sobs.  I closed my 'eyes' and let my tears fall on his chest. His hand felt so...cold. Ice cold.

Nobody dared to say a word so all we could hear was the loud beep from the monitor. But then, something unexpected happened.

"T-Tom..?" I opened my 'eyes' again when I realized who said that. That accent. The heartbeat monitor was now beeping normally again and that ment... My 'eyes' widened when I saw Tord...smiling at me weakily.

"T-Tord! You...you are alive! But how?" I asked him. His smile faded and it turned into a frown. "I-" He was cut off by the doctors pushing us out of the room.

Before they closed the doors, one of them smiled at us. "Don't worry, I'm sure he'll make it now." He said and closed the door.

Edd's POV:

We stared at the door for a few moments before we returned to the waiting room. Everybody was quiet. We were all thinking about Tord.

*time skip*

Right when I was about to say that it takes them too long, a nurse came towards us. She smiled at us sweetly. "So, how is Tord?" Tom asked her immediately. "You don't have to be worried about your friend, he's okay." She said.

"Can we...see him?" I asked her. "Alright, but he is still sleeping and right now he needs rest, so don't wake him up." She said and we followed her into a big white room with a window.

There was a white hospital bed and Tord layed in it. I sighed in relief when I saw he was breathing.

We went closer to him. He was sleeping peacefully. But he had a weird thing on his mouth. Tom I guess noticed my confused face, beacuse he explained it to me. "This thing is helping the person to breathe."

"Oh." I simply said and kept looking at Tord's powerless body. He was breathing normally, I guess it's because of that machine. His eyes were shut and he was snoring quietly. I hope he will wake up soon...

Tord's POV:

It was cold. Darkness was surrounding me. I couldn't see anything, but it felt like snow. I could hear the wind whooshing. It was night. My vision actually cleaned and I stood up. I recognised this place.

I looked beind me to see a tree with a big hole as a door. My shelter. 'What am  doing here? I thought Edd, Matt and Tom said that I am living with them...' I thought to myself as I walked around for a bit, still limping on my injured leg.

Then I heard something I didn't want to hear ever again... Footsteps... My eyes widened. The footsteps were getting closer and closer to me. I tried to run, but I couldn't move.

Then, the silouette came. Itgrinned at me. "Well, hello there." The silouette said. "W-what?" I said, confused and scared. "Come on, just saying hello!" It said. I begun shaking. "What are you? And what do you want from me?" I asked.

"Oh, what is wrong? Little Tordy scared?" It asked and then chuckled. That made me even more terrified. I stayed silent.

I started crying and sobbing. "W-what do you want from me?" I asked it again. "Oh, I just want you to suffer. To realize the pain." It answered. I was confused. "What did I ever do to you? And what the hell are you?" I asked it.

It giggled. "I...am a nightmare... YOUR nightmare. I can turn into anything that scares you. I can do anything to you!" The nightmare said and it started to laugh like a maniac. I was still shaking. I backed away, but fell to the ground.

I looked up at it. But, it looked different now. Brown, spiky hair, black 'eyes', blue hoodie...Tom! I raised an eyebrow. "But...I'm not scared of Thomas..." I said. "Well, not him. But you're still afraid." It answered.

"Wha-" My eyes widened when I noticed what it was holding. A...harpoon gun. It was shining like the silver moon on the night sky. It pointed it at me.

"Say goodnight!" It said. I shut my eyes, not wanting to see that. Then, I felt a sharp pain in my throat.
