oikawa sipped his drink- an iced latte. he had finally finished cleaning his small city apartment. the male had moved away from his parents after he came out to them, since they thought he was a disgrace and a failure for being an independent man.
but that's beside the point, because now he had a handsome chunk of meat that he could see through his window. the tan man was in the other apartment building, but since the city was cramped, the distance from the two windows were so short that oikawa could literally crawl into his room.
as the boy with the glasses stared at the buff man, they made eye contact.
oikawa drops down to the floor and hopes that the stranger doesn't think much of him.
it was two in the morning, and oikawa wasn't going to start up his college education again, in which he was working on his master's in engineering, and decided tomorrow that he should go out and look for a job.
the layout of his apartment was simple and small, it had a bedroom/ living area, kitchen, and a bathroom. the bathroom walls have baby blue tiles and a big mirror. the bedroom/ living space was one big room with a bed on one side and a TV and desk on the other. he had his guitar neatly set up and had posters already covering his walls. he had his polaroid collection over his bed, it had all of his old friends from back 'home'.
[ kinda like conan gray's apartment. ]
for oikawa, usually about once a week he couldn't sleep at all. he would stay up and watch volleyball videos or write songs. in this case, the male with glasses decided to read. he grabbed his book, the second in the 'death trilogy' by kageyama tobio. oikawa actually use to know kageyama back when he use to write books in college. he gave up that passion after he got a big amount of writer's block, he even had to stop working on his book that he was developing.
after about two hours of reading, he decided to go on an early morning [very early morning ] jog around the city. he ran through empty shops and bright street lights, the stars were still visible, but the sun was about to make it's way up.
oikawa checked his phone, five fifteen. he ended his jog and started to walk home. he was quite far from home anyway so he took a break and sat on a nearby bench.
then oikawa saw him.
the cute neighbor on the other side of the street, walking into a bookshop that just had a small cafe opened inside of it.
ignoring the vibrant sunrise that oikawa was going to watch, he crossed the empty street and followed the man in.
six o clock, shop opened.
