We sat quietly at the restaurant's table, calmly looking at the menu.

A waitress then came and took our orders and then menus.

"How was your day?" I questioned.

"Busy," she answered. "My cheeks hurt from all the smiling I had to do."

I wish I was the one who made you smile so much.

"Well, I'm sure your smile made everyone's day," I smiled.

"Thanks," she smiled. "You have a nice smile yourself."

"I knows, it's beautiful," I joked, earning a giggle from her.

Gosh, I missed that sound.

"How was your day?" she asked.

"Eh," I shrugged. "I exercised for about 3 hours, painted for an hour, and then took a nap."

"You paint?" she asked with curious eyes.

"Yeah," I answered

"Do you have any completed projects? I'd love to see them," she smiled.

"I do, yes," I nodded. "I can show you some on your free time."

"Sounds great," she confirmed. "I didn't think you'd wanna see me again. I mean, the last time we saw each other, we said we'd start over, but after a week passed....I gave up. I thought you probably listened to what Junior had said about me being better off without you."

"I didn't think you wanted to see me," I informed.

"At first, I was a little unsure about it, judging your reputation and all," she explained, "but as the days passed, I felt...weird."
