There are some obvious reasons why the time machine is the greatest invention in human history but there are consequences, the power and capacity to change the course of history in self-intentions.

A person who can have the power to control time traveling can be the most powerful person in the world. He or she can control the fate of humanity or knowing already what lies ahead in the future. Even though the richest man can be reliant to the man who controls time traveling but it would only bring insanity or downfall to whoever made it.

Austen believed that the moment her grand uncle made the DeLorean, it brings curse to her family and most of all, Emma. The weight of regret and sorrow was evident to her grandmother to the point that if only she knows to make the DeLorean, she can save her brother.

It never left in Austen's mind of the possibility that Emma Brown might be the culprit of the vanishing DeLorean. There is no one else who would have done it.  She is quiet back at the garage while Doc Brown is all fascinated on how the two DeLoreans are the same while Marty recognized that she is beside Einstein at the couch, thinking.

Marty who seemed bothered by her actions ever since the 2018 DeLorean was seen in the junk yard, he got a feeling that Austen might knew something and she just lied earlier so he sat beside her.

"You know something, Austen." Marty suddenly told her.

The quiet girl who is in trance suddenly went to back reality as Marty Mcfly spoke to her. Her mind is still bombarded by her grandmother and the possibility of her involvement on getting Austen back in 1985.

The boy watched Austen, he noticed that she is avoiding eye contact to him and fidgeting. She wanted to tell everything to Marty but the risks on ruining the timeline will be another consequence and maybe, she might never go back to 2018.

As much as she wanted to tell what happened to them, Austen fears for herself and it is for their own good to know nothing on already lies ahead of them. Austen wished that Doc Emmett Brown never created the DeLorean, she wished he never inclined himself of the idea of time traveling and she wished that he took something else like being a professor in a prestigious university. There are many endless opportunities for her grand uncle but his life ended because of his ambition to be the greatest inventor.

She wanted to blame her grand uncle to the sorrow that he caused to his sister but Austen can't do it, no matter how he is long deceased in her time, she already had an attachment to her uncle rather than hearing the marvelous stories about him through her grandmother.

Austen stood up and told Marty, "I will be going outside to get some fresh air."

When Marty is about to speak, Austen already went out of the garage. She wanted to be alone and leave the thoughts that kept bombarding her mind for the past hour.

It is already afternoon in Hill Valley and the time where Doc will die then Marty will vanish will be two days from now.

She stopped at the side of the street and stare at the horizon. Austen wanted to save them no matter the cost but she knew that there will be consequences. She wanted to leave 1985, she wanted to be that normal girl in college, she wanted to be that girl who never see the DeLorean. While her mind is preoccupied to many things, she heard someone calling her name.

Austen was bewildered on who is calling her, she looked around to see who it was but the familiarity of the voice shook her. She thought that she might be hallucinating because of the happenings throughout the day but as she look at the other side of the street, she couldn't believe on who she is looking at.

"Austen, come here!" The beautiful brunette woman said to her.

When she was young, she would always look at the pictures of her grandmother in her home. She is quite drawn on how beautiful she was way back in 80's and the reason why Doc Brown is very protective to her.

Austen looked to her left and right if the woman really is pointing at her. The woman seemed annoyed that Austen looked absolutely dumbfounded on where she was standing so she went to her instead.

"Are you gonna gawk at me like that the whole day, Austen Leigh?" Young Emma Brown said to her.

Austen is tongue tied while staring at her grandmother. She couldn't process on the events of her stay at 1985 and now meeting her young grandmother seemed a dizzy moment for her.

"I-I..." Austen said while her grandmother is raising her eyebrow to the young woman.

Emma Brown had no choice but to drag her granddaughter away from the garage. Austen didn't protest instead, just stare at her. When they went to a deserted alley, Austen asked her grandmother,

"Grandma, how did you know my name? I am not yet born."

"I will not tell you how but I came here to fulfill your purpose."

"What do you mean?" Austen gave a perplexed look to Emma.

"I am the one who sent you here to save my brother and Marty."

Before words of her grandmother filter in her mind, Austen unconsciously said aloud; "Great Scott!"
