"I-i love you too, J-john." I stutter out, nervous that he was lying.
He looks me straight in the eye and starts to lean in. Eyes flicking down to my lips faster than how much my heart is beating. I lean in as well.
Our lips collide in a beautiful, messy, love-filled kiss. I saw the entire world in those five seconds are lips were together.
I saw the beauty in this cruel world we are living in. I forgot my past. I forgot all who wronged me. I forgot who I was. I was focused on him.
I felt everything in the world, in space, in this universe, and more.
It was different than the kiss during truth or dare. That kiss was filled with determination and impulse. Not to mention, our friends were there.
This was our moment.

Our lips connected and everything in the world fell away.
Seconds before we were a million worlds apart, but now we were united. We are connected. We are one.
Sparks, magic, love, fireworks. All of this I felt.
My heart was beating to his own. We were in sync. We were together, at last.
Love and passion filled the air we were sat in.
