I thought that I was going to need to scream again, but I didn't. I didn't feel pain. I fell off the bed and blacked out.

Time skip

I woke up in the bed with Bill laying next to me.
"Ah, awake finally?" I looked around, groggily.
Suddenly, I felt a stabbing pain in my chest. "I'm sorry, baby. I have to do this while you're awake or it won't work." I could hear hints of sarcasm but also notes of genuine sorrow. The spell put on me, still would not let me scream. After a while, the pain subsided.
"What..." I breathed. "What was that?!?" I shouted. Bill chuckled. I looked down to see that my chest was perfectly fine.
"It was the spell, princess. The one that makes it so the gnats don't eat you." I was hyperventilating, so I took a few deep breaths.
"What did you... replace?" He smiled, devilishly.
"Your heart, my dear." My eyes went wide.
"How... How did you... WHAT?!"
"Its a spell. I just made your heart originate from here. Guess what??? You're a dream demon now!" I stared at him. His smile creeped me out.
"WHAT?!?!" He smirked.
"You'll get used to it. I'll show you everything. Don't worry, you'll be ok. I made sure of that, Y/N." My body hadn't stopped shaking since I got to the dimension.
"Now. I want you to meet the henchmen." I looked up and nodded, slightly dizzy.
He held my hand as I stood up. My legs almost failed me, but he held me up. I unconsciously nuzzled my head into his chest which made him smile. He put my arm around his neck and helped me walk to another room.
"These." He motioned to the room that had a few demonic creatures. "Are my friends." I pulled myself closer to him. I mentally slapped myself again.
What am I doing? This man is my captor. Why do I feel this way? Why do I feel like... somewhere in there is something good, that I can save from the demon covering it?
"This is Paci-Fire." The entity was short with a Pacifier in his stomach. He had horns on his stout head.
"Hello, Pretty Lady." Bill narrowed his eyes. Paci-Fire quickly backed up, rubbing the back of his neck. His creepy smile returned almost instantly.
"This is Teeth." The being basically looked like a giant pair of dentures with legs and arms. I awkwardly smiled. He slightly bowed to me and Bill.
"This is Zanthar." My mouth dropped open at the sight of the massive creature. He kind of looked like a giant loaf of cut bread. He was black in color and had long legs that he used to move like a dog. He knelt to Bill and I. He made a noise that sounded like a mumbled groan.
"This is Kryptos." He was a square demon. He had one eye that sat at the top of his pointed body. He winked at me, but I couldn't tell if it was intentional or not.
"This is Keyhole." The monster was skinnier that he was tall. He was electric blue with a big key hole at the top of his head, above his eyes. He had a small pink nose that sat directly beneath his eyes.
"This is Hectorgon." He was a red hexagon with no legs; he hovered. His arms were relatively long. He had thick yellow lips, a mustache where his eyes should be, and a small black bollard hat with a thin yellow line. He had a light blue tie that hung to his elbows.
His lips parted into a thin smirk.
"Hello, Sexy. What are you doing here?" He asked. I heard a low growl emit from Bill. Hectorgon didn't seem to notice. He bit his lip seductively. Before I knew what was happening, Bill threw a punch. Hectorgon lay on floor two feet away. I gulped. Knowing he could do that to anyone he pleased sent a shiver down my spine. Bill snapped in the direction of the monster and these thugs came and took him away, 3 of them.
"Those." He spoke with an anger in his tone. "Are eye bats. They do most of the work around here." I nodded, trembling slightly harder than before.
"You've already met 8 ball." I nodded, letting my gaze hit the ground.
"And this is Pyronica." I recognized the name from before. She had a desirable figure and a pink color on her skin. She had a single eye and short pink hair. Her horns were thick and her legs and arms were thin. She had pink everything. Her dress was a dark shade of pink and had shoulders and didn't go past her thighs. She had leggings and gloves that looked as though they were made of pink fire. Her cape hung slightly past her dress.
"Hiya! We're gonna be great friends!" She smiled, genuinely. I gave back an awkward weak smile.
"Pyronica is really the only girl we have here. If you don't come to like her, you're kinda stuck." Bill shrugged.
I looked back and forth between Bill and Pyronica. They looked like they would be a good couple. Why me? Why not her? Why didn't he just kill me? Zap me into oblivion? I bit my lip in obvious frustration.
"Is something wrong?" He whispered in my ear. I quickly shook my head. I put on a fake smile. "Now that you're familiar with them, they aren't scary anymore, are they?" I nodded.
"Except for maybe Hectorgon." I stared at the place where the entity floated a mere moments ago. He grinned, devilishly.
"Don't worry." He said in a low voice. "He was taken care of." He growled. I rubbed my hands together, awkwardly. I let out a forced chuckle. Bill put his arm around me. "Nobody will ever hurt you." I smiled. He might actually care about me.
"Pyronica, go up to our bedroom in 15 minutes." She nodded.
"Will do, boss."
Bill lead me back up to our room and sat on the sofa. He patted the space next to him and I sat down.
"Now, I'm going to tell you about being a dream demon." I nodded.
