Pietro's POV

I didn't sleep last night, and I know that might worry Clint since he wouldn't dream, but I just couldn't. I had too many nerves flying around my stomach.

Wanda, however, slept through the whole plane ride. I don't know how she did it, but she slept through the turbulence and everything.

We're on the ground now, staying outside, but avoiding people. Wanda was tired, I could tell. "Piet, I'm hungry, why must we wait outside?" She asked, grabbing my arm. I shook her off.

"Can you believe it? I'm going to meet him today!" I exclaimed in excitement. I guess Wanda realized it was a lost cause, so she dropped my arm and huffed out.

I wriggled around in excitement, not able to stand completely still. Sure, I'm nervous about meeting everyone else, but not Clint.

"Is that him?" Wanda asked, staring out into the parking lot. Three people were walking towards us, walking quickly with their heads ducked down.

"I think so? I can see Clint, so I'm sure it is," I said, craning my neck to look better. I didn't want to call out my name in case they were trying to stay hidden, so I waited.

When Clint looked up, our eyes met. I stared, unable to move, breath, or speak. Wanda nudged me forward, causing me to stumble. I caught myself before I hit the ground, not wanting to fall in front of him.

Wanda grabbed my elbow and began walking to meet them. When we met on the edge of the sideway, Wanda and the other two people engaged in conversation. Clint and I were staring at each other, not speaking, just staring.

I cleared my throat and bit my lip, I don't know what I'm supposed to do. "Pietro, hi," He breathed out, a smile going over his face. The second I heard his voice, I instantly pulled him in for a hug. Clint wrapped his arms around me, holding onto me. It was nice, better than I had imagined.

"Okay love birds, let's get somewhere cool, it's hot out!" Wanda said, hitting my arm. Clint and I let go of each other. I felt a blush creeping onto my cheeks, but I ignored it and walked with them.

Once we were in the car, Wanda and I were bombarded with questions. "So, do you know anything about all of these dreams?" A blond man asked, I assume this is Steve.

I looked at Clint, sending him a look of panic. I wasn't expecting immediate questioning. Clint gave me an encouraging smile and tapped my hand four times, something he knows calms my anxiety. "I don't know how the dreams started," I said, taking in a breath, "I just know that Clint and I are somehow connected by these dreams."

Steve, I think, nodded. He then turned to Wanda. "I hear you can do things with your mind, like what?" He asked, alarming her.

"Steve, lay off with the questions until later, you're scaring them," Clint warned, shooting him a glare. I was right, his name is Steve. I let out a little yay, glad that I was finally right about something.

Clint smiled at me, keeping one finger on top of my hand, keeping me calm. I'm grateful he knows how to keep me calm, if it weren't for him or Wanda, I'd be having an anxiety attack.

After another thirty minutes of driving, we finally arrived at the Avengers Tower. We got out of the car, Wanda and I trailing behind everyone. "Hey, you two will be fine, don't worry," The red haired woman said, trying to reassure us.

I looked to Clint, watching for any signs that I should be worried. I saw none, so I straightened up and tried to look confident, it failed.

"Clint! I'm assuming these are the twins?" A man asked. Clint rolled his eyes and nodded, smacking the man's arm.

"Tony, this is Pietro and Wanda," Clint said, waving towards us. Wanda and I stood there, giving him a small smile.

I had forgotten that I would need to meet his teammates, oh god. I've never been good with meeting new people, what if I say something wrong and they kick Wanda and me out? Or worse, just me. I would be all alone. This is too much pressure. There's so much sitting on my shoulders, I could mess this up for Wanda and me. Oh god, I can't breathe.

"Piet, stop, calm down," Clint said, leaning in front of me. I could tell I was shaking. I didn't plan on this happening. Oh god, they're going to think I'm mentally unstable and kick me out. Another worry.

My eyes were wandering everywhere, searching aimlessly for Clint's blue eyes. "Pietro, listen, I need you to stay calm please. I know this is hard and confusing, but you need to breathe normally," Clint said, his voice steady and calming. Slowly, he took my hand, tapping it four times. I stared into his eyes, my other hand searching for Wanda's.

"Piet, you're okay, calm down," She whispered, gripping my hand tightly. Soon enough, my breathing was normal. Somewhere during that incident, I ended up on the ground.

"I'm sorry, I got overwhelmed," I croaked out. I'm still shaking, my hands vibrating with nerves. Tony was staring at me from his spot on the floor, giving me a curious look.

Finally, he cleared his throat and advance towards me. "So, you suffer from anxiety. Were you born with it, or did you get it from an event that happened?" He asked, staring right through me. He knows.

"Um, something happened last year, only Wanda knows," I said, looking down. I hope Clint isn't disappointed that I never told him.

Wanda grabbed my hand and gave it a reassuring squeeze. "Thought so, I could get you something for that, don't worry," Tony said, nodding at me. I smiled gratefully, glad he wasn't going to kick me out.

"Clint can show you two to your rooms, but I assume Pietro will be staying with Clint?" Tony asked, looking at us two. I choked on air, shaking my head quickly.

Clint laughed and whispered something into Tony's ear, making Tony nod in realization. "Alright, scratch that," He said, rubbing his neck nervously.

I laughed nervously, trying to fight the blush that appeared on my cheeks. "Piet, you so want to sleep with Clint!" Wanda hissed under her breath, smacking my arm.

I jumped, rubbing my arm. "I do not! Quit that," I whispered, shooting her a glare. Clint cleared his throat, looking at us in amusement.

"Okay, I'll show you to your rooms, come on," Clint said, waving us into another doorway. We walked down the hallway in uncomfortable silence.

We stopped. "Wanda, this is your room. Yours is the one right next to hers Piet, but can we talk for a minute?" Clint asked, opening Wanda's door. I nodded, waving to my sister before dropping my stuff off in my room.

"We haven't been alone since you've gotten here, I wanted to spend some time with you before everyone got to you," Clint said, dragging me into his room. We sat against the bed for a few minutes, sitting in a comfortable silence.

I smiled at him, slowly taking his hand. "Are you nervous to be here?" Clint asked, rubbing circles on my hand. This is nice.

"Yes, very nervous, but I think I'll be okay," I said, noticing how badly my Sokovian accent stood out. I sighed and rested my head on Clint's shoulder.

He laughed and pulled me in for a hug. "This will be fine, we will be fine," He reassured me, running his hand through my hair.

I nodded, smiling into his shoulder. I don't know if his feelings for me are romantic or platonic, but I intend to find out.
