"Parth we have to go the party, just get your ass up" Niti said closing her eyes in hopes that her anger dissipates. This is the sixth or seventh time she has called him and every time he has dodged the question or simply ignored it.

They had a fight in the morning while having breakfast about him being denied any space and privacy. It was so sudden, Niti had no clue about this whole 'suffocation' and she honestly couldn't find any other reason for him being upset so that must have been the case. Early in the morning this was the last thing she wanted to hear. She wasn't a clingy partner and she wasn't going to sit back and hear stuff being said about herself. Parth went on and on, he was being childish enough to say, "you even made me watch that lurid movie the other day." It was just a slasher,no biggie and he said that as if he didn't make her watch sappy rom-coms all day. Niti had tried her best to ignore his ridiculous remarks but she couldn't hold it further after a point and lashed out at him.

They sorted it out later, more like they left the whole thing behind, pretending it never happened but Parth has been grumpy ever since except for the times he had been smiling out of nowhere, at the weirdest things just for the sake of annoying her.

"You know BBC announced a prequel to Game Of Thrones. It's a relief it's not ending this year, isn't it?" He asked, lying on the couch like a king that he thought he was and shaking his head to a non-existent rhythm.

"Parth I'm tired. I've been telling the same thing for quite a few times now, please don't make me lose my composure. None of us are in the best mood right now, and I don't wanna fight with you. So please be a little understanding and get up and get ready" Niti rubbing her hands together. All she wanted to do really was thriw him out of the house for behavibg in such a manner.

"Niti why can't you take the hint yaar, if I'm not responding then I must not want to go!" Parth said sitting up, agitated by her persistence.

"Its your friends successs party! He is not a direct friend of mine we only know each other through you. He will be expecting you, so please put your mood behind and come with me."

"If you're so eager to go, then why don't you go by yourself. I'm not going to that flashy party, if rather sit home and relax" his face changes from sarcastic to disgust to relief within seconds as he made it clear that he wasn't going anywhere.

"It's bad as it is that you're not going inspite of him specifically requesting you, I can't afford to not go as well. I have some basic courtesy left" Niti said as she watched him make faces that clearly expressed irritation and boredom. He must have been in a really foul mood cause that's the most ungracious she had ever seen him.

"Please do. You should infact, we could use some time away from each other" he said rolling his eyes but he had a smile on his lips. Not the genuine, charming smile but the 'kindly fuck off' kind.

"Just cut it Parth. I've had enough of your bullshit. Don't try to make it look like I'm sticking you because you and I both know that's not true. You're just trying to unnecessarily villainise me-"

"That's not even a word"

"I don't care. Your trying to paint a picture of pity, like you're in desperate need of space and privacy which I am apparently invading and 'suffocating' you. In reality it's nothing like that, it's not even close. The problem you have is that Dev cracked it and you didn't" Niti said crossing her arms, an eyebrow raised in reflection of the pride she felt on her correct assessment of his behaviour.
