Chiron showed me plenty.. and as fantastical and weird as it all was... nothing really compared to me finding out I was a King who lived who knew how many thousands of years ago..

I mean.. it doesn't even make sense.. shouldn't I technically be a Queen?..

That aside.. Camp Half-Blood overall was pretty amazing.

The camp was comprised of many middle school to high school age guys and girls, all of them going about their business, sometimes performing normal camping activities like roasting marshmallows... archery...

But then there were quite unusual activities which were more my style. I watched in fact in a Gladiator Stadium near the edge of the woods, where kids in greek armor with swords and spears in hand, practiced ripping apart a straw dummy.

Other than an archery field, and colleseum, there was a lake, a forest filled with monsters that were released for campers to hunt as well as a place where Campers played a rather rough warfare style of Capture the Flag.

There was even an outdoor greek amphitheatre where apparently they had a bonfire and singalongs every night.  There was a weapon's barracks an outdoor cafeteria with stone tables, which made me wonder what people did when it rained.

"Oh it never rains unless we want it to." was all Chiron said to me.

The last stop on Chiron's tour was the Stables, which Percy loved, but Chiron seemed to dislike.

The stables were filled with pegasi... or Pegasus if you want the singular term..

Yes, real winged horses of varying colored coats.

Chiron explained to me that the Real Pegasus had many children, and was still flying free somewhere in the sky, and while his offspring weren't quite as heroic and fast, they still made good steeds.

However, despite Percy's thrill about them, and my liking for the normal horses.. the Pegasi seemed to leave sort of a bad taste in my mouth..  for some reason, looking at them made me think of rattling chains attached to a nail-like knife.. as if they reminded me of somebody I had once met and gotten into a huge argument with.

(those of you who've watched fate know who I'm talking about.. those of you who haven't.. well you'll  see..)

Satyrs worked all over the camp other than Grover. as well as tree spirits like Dryads.. basically maidens who lived in trees and plants.. nature spirits.

As we took the tour, and Percy, who was by far the youngest kid in the entire camp, ran around excitedly, I spoke with Chiron.

"So.. I'm King Arthur." I said.

"You are THE King Arthur." said Chiron, nodding at me, trotting alongside me.. his waist now easily at my head height. "You aren't a demigod.. but you're strong enough to be considered among them... when you were young your body was infused with the blood of a dragon, giving you strength and stamina beyond any mortal.. Half-Blood or Full Human..  and you yourself, disguised as a man.. under the tutelage of the mage Merlin, led the Knights of the Round Table to many a victory.. until your death at the hands of the traitorous knight Mordred."

"So I'm dead.." I said.  "I'm a pretty solid ghost if that is the case.."

"You're not dead NOW of course.. and you surely aren't a ghost." said Chiron. "What you are now, is something more complicated, and might even be considered almost completely unrelated to the Olympians or this camp.. if there weren't special circumstances that made them related..   It's a little tough to explain.. but I believe Annabeth can better explain... ahh speak of the devil.
