    The next morning, Jay was no where to be found. Tul woke me up, bringing me a cup of coffee. 
    "Come on." Tul said. "Get in my car."
    I totally forgot to ask how he got here last night. Then it I finally realized. "YOU DROVE UNDER INFLUENCE?! WHAT IF YOU GOT IN AN ACCIDENT?" 
     "Nothing I can do now," Tul said. "Now come." 
     "Jay will be mad," I said, my heart pounding just thinking about it. 
    "I don't give a fuck. I'm mad too. He shouldn't fucking lay a hand on you. If I ever catch him beating you again I swear I will make sure he doesn't wake up to see the light of day ever again." Tul said, showing an intense look of anger. 
     I didn't know what to do, so I just followed him into his car. 
     It wasn't awkward, although it was silent. I felt rather happy in fact. I missed spending time with him. I missed him. 
      "You know I'm always here, right?" Tul said, breaking the silence. 
     "I-I know, but Jay doesn't want me to have any contact with you." I said. 
     Tul stopped the car, making me jump. He leaned over the driver's seat and crashed his lips onto mine. As if it were an instinct, I kissed back. 
No matter how many times we fight, distance ourselves and break up, I think I'll always love him.
      It eventually got heated, so I pushed him off. 
     "TAKE ME HOME! H-HE'LL HURT ME E-EVEN WORSE IF HE KNOWS WHERE I AM!" I yelled. 
      "DO YOU HEAR YOURSELF? WHY ARE YOU WITH THAT DIRTBAG? HAVE YOU LOST ALL OF YOUR SELF WORTH? MAX, HE DOESN'T LOVE YOU. YOU'RE HIS PUNCHING BAG." Tul yelled and punched the car window. 
      He took a deep breath and continued. "Max, please. I beg you. Leave him. You can stay with me, I'll protect you. I'll do everything possible to make sure you never see that man ever again. Please!"
     I'd never seen him beg so desperately before. My eyes filled with tears. 
     "T-Tul, I'm scared," I said. "Help me."
     He stepped out of his car and walked towards my door. He pulled me up and hugged me. We hugged until I stopped crying and got back into the car. 
     "I promise, you'll be okay," Tul said. 
      We kept driving for another hour or two until we arrived at a house that was unfamiliar to me. 
      "W-where are we?" I asked. 
      "Away." Tul said. 
                          
    Sorry for producing such a short chapter! The next chapter will be long and I felt like the next scene didn't fit with this chapter, so I split it up. Please read below!!!
