this is a longer chapter than usual, because let's just say that annabeth overreacts a bit. enjoy!

why the hell would will do that to nico?

of all people, will knew him the best. will knows how sensitive nico is when it comes to things like this.

i storm into my cabin and shut the door. how can will treat nico like that? he was like the brother i never had!

i punched the wall out of hatred, and dived into my bed, landing face-first on my pillow.

will solace, you freaking liar and cheater. that little bitch, i was going to let him have it in once we're alone again.

i wasn't one to physically hurt someone. but oh boy, did i get up in their face and yell at them.

nico's family died, his best friend died, he went to tartarus and back without anyone to assist him. meanwhile, i had annabeth and we barely made it out alive.

nico has had a very rough past.

annabeth.

i can't believe i almost forgot to tell annabeth. she was going to be furious, probably beat the hell out of will.

i sprinted to the athena cabin to get annabeth. i opened the door to see malcom peacefully reading a book.

"hey, malcom. where are the rest of your siblings?" i asked.

he didn't respond. i figured he was so absorbed in his book that he didn't hear me. i knew that all to well because annabeth does that all the time. (A/N and so do i haha)

"malcom... malcom!"

dam, still no response.

"MALCOM!"

he jumped up and shut his book closed. he put his hand to his heart and sighed. "percy! you scared the shit out of me!"

"okay, yeah, maybe i didn't have to yell so loud if you listened to me. anyways, where's annabeth?"

malcom smirked. "oooh, looking for your girlfriend?"

i scowled. "seriously, malcom? how old are you,11?" gods, he can be so childish.

malcom nodded. "on a scale of 1-10, yes."

"okay, enough of this. where's annabeth?" i asked in a serious tone.

"she's somewhere close to the lake, along with my other siblings. they are all having a meeting about all the things that want to kill us. they think that they are planning to come to camp to kill everyone, and overrun this place."

i nodded. "i didn't ask for an explanation," i said as i ran out the door.

as i was running to the lake, i gracefully tripped on an arrow and tumbled down a hill. thankfully, that fall got me to where i needed.

i got up while brushing myself off and saw about fifteen pairs of eyes staring at me.

the one person standing, annabeth, started to burst into laughter.

"oh my gods, percy. that was too funny," she said between laughs.

after a second everyone else joined in and i just scowled. in a situation like this i would have made a sassy remark or laugh along, but right now i wasn't in the mood.

i grabbed annabeth's arm and started to quickly walk. she looked up at me with a puzzled look.

"what's wrong?"
