(Y/n) POV:
My eyes blinked open from the sound of a massive explosion. I sat up to see Lucy standing by the window. However, it wasn't Lucy. I saw the glimmer of her skin from the magic disguise. It was Mirajane.
"Mira?" I called out to the 'Lucy'. She gasped and turned around to see me. Then her worried expression morphed into one of relief. Mira walked over and hugged me.
Mirajane:"I'm so glad you're okay." She told me with happiness. I patted her back, and she let go.
"What's going on?" I reached up to rub my head, but winced in pain. My eyes looked down at my body to see bandages wrapped around my chest and arms. Then I remembered. I had took the hit from the Jupiter cannon.
Mirajane:"Things are in the air right now." She told me grimly before explaining everything that I've missed.
Turns out that Natsu destroyed the Jupiter cannon. Now Gray, Elfman, and Erza were now storming the base. However, the Phantom Lord's base transformed into a large metal giant. Plus Mystogan was nowhere to be found, and Laxus refuses to come help. It was preparing to cast a spell that will wipe out the entire guild.
Once Mirajane finished explaining, she began to cry. I knew why, because she was going to turn herself in as 'Lucy'. However, I seriously doubt that would work. Before I could protest the idea, Mirajane already left to perform the act.
'What do I do now?' I asked myself and analyzed my injured body. My fists clenched together, as I peered outside. My friends were currently fighting these shadow-like creatures. Shades. They regenerated each time someone defeated them. My guild was going to need my help.
"I don't want to use this, but..." I muttered with reluctance before activating my devil slayer magic. My energy returned to my body, and I could feel my injuries healing. I cracked my joints and stretched before heading out.
I stepped outside to see Cana and Macao with their backs pressed against each other. They were about to become overwhelmed by the shades. Cana threw another one of her card magic and destroyed a dozen, but they regenerated.
Cana:"No! How can they come back so fast?!" She asked while panting from exhaustion. I closed my eyes and reopened them. The background changed colors like before.
Everything was black and blood red except for my enemies. Then black magic circles formed around my hands, and I clapped them together. Suddenly, a massive magical circle formed in the large general area.
Macao:"What the heck?!" He asked in shock before looking at me. Suddenly, a grin formed on his face, and he raised his fist into the air.
Macao:"(Y/n) has joined the fray!" He announced, and the rest of the Fairy Tail guild all cheered in joy. The shades all froze to look at me, and I casted my spell.
'Lightning Demon Storm!' I shouted my spell silently, and the sky darkened and rumbled. Finally, hundreds of lightning bolts smite the shades from the sky. I watched each of them dissolve into black particles.
Everyone:"Yeah!!!" They shouted in unison, and my eyesight returned to normal. While everyone was cheering, I looked down at my right forearm. It was covered in black markings, and I sighed. This was a side effect of using demon slayer magic.
