*END OF FLASHBACK*

Sandra got out of the car at a petrol station in Coventry later that afternoon and put the petrol pump into the fuel outlet of the car. About a minute later, while she waited patiently for the fuel tank to fill up, Bruce suddenly came walking towards her. He seemed to be holding something under his arm.

"What's all that?" Sandra asked when she saw him, referring to what he was carrying.

"Supplies. I had some cash on me, so I figured we could use some duct tape." Bruce answered, and sure enough, he showed that he was carrying 5 rolls of duct tape as he held one up. "Y'know, one for everyone, just in case?"  {A/N: Burn Notice anyone? XD}

"How did you buy all those rolls of tape without even gaining the slightest bit of suspicion?" Jenny asked with a laugh as she leaned out the passenger-side window, having noticed what he and Sandra were talking about.

"I don't really know. I guess the guy thought I was just doing a lotta homeware stuff or something." Replied Bruce with a chuckle.

After another few seconds, the fuel tank was finally full, so Sandra put the petrol pump back and went to pay for it, then after Bruce put all his rolls of duct tape on the car boot, they got back in and set off towards Northampton.

An hour later, they pulled over into a layby next to a small area of woods at the side of the motorway so that everyone could use the bathroom if need be. But when Jenny got out, she noticed a wasp near to her and shouted out in surprise. She was terrified of wasps, and preferred to put as much distance as possible between her and them.

"What is it Jen?" Sandra asked, then she saw the wasp and realised.

"Just stay away from it and it'll leave you alone!" Said Maurice.

"That's what I'm trying to do!" Jenny exclaimed and then ran off at about 70 miles an hour into the woods and away from the wasp. They were common in places around that time of year. Then they suddenly heard Jenny's yell again, only more distant this time from in the woods.

"That means she's probably ran into another one." Sandra smiled, trying to suppress a joking laugh. The others were also smirking at this.

After they'd done using the bathroom (and also after Jenny had  finally outran the wasp), they all walked back to the car, but as they went to get back in, Isaac had only sat down for a split second when he suddenly jumped back up again.

"Jesus that's hot! The seats feel so hot they might as well be on fire!" Issac yelled, accidentally banging his head on the car ceiling as he jumped up. Sandra put her index finger onto her driver seat and it was indeed extremely hot. Isaac rubbed the top of his head from when he banged it on the ceiling.

The seats were made of black leather, and the car was in direct sunlight, so the sunlight had obviously heated it up while they were gone, and black materials can get even hotter than other colours when exposed to heat. Also, the heat from the sun must've been amplified through the glass windows.

Jenny fetched some blankets out of the boot to cover the seats with so that they could cool down without being exposed to sunlight.

"Seems like we'll have to wait a few minutes for the seats to cool down before we get going again." Maurice leaned against the side of the BMW.

"What are we gonna do in the meantime?" Said Bruce.

"I've got an idea!" Jenny announced after a couple of moments. "Everyone get a drink."

"Why?" Isaac enquired.

"I'll explain in a minute."

And so everyone reached into the car boot to get a drink. Maurice, Isaac and Bruce got a beer each, and Jenny and Sandra each grabbed a can of Diet Coke, as Sandra needed to remain as sober as possible for when she'd be driving again in a few minutes, and Jenny was underage.

"Okay, so there's a drinking game called 'Never Have I Ever'." Jenny began to explain. "To put it simply, one person says something that they've never done before, and then if one of the other players has done it before, they take a small sip from their drink."

"Okay. Sounds fairly easy." Isaac nodded. "Is it alright if I go first?"

"Yeah, of course!"

"Alright then. Let's see..." Isaac thought for a moment before saying, "Never have I ever... gotten arrested."

No one drank.

"My turn!" Sandra said. "Never have I ever... eaten grass."

Jenny drank from her Diet Coke at this.

"No way! You've eaten grass before?" Bruce asked, laughing a little bit.

"Only once when I was 4 years old. We were playing this farm game in the school yard." Replied Jenny.

"I'll go next. Never have I ever pushed all the buttons in a lift." Maurice had his turn, and Bruce took a sip from his beer when this was mentioned.

"When did that happen?" Sandra said, smiling as she was just imagining a younger Bruce randomly pushing every button in a lift.

"The Winter of 1968, I think. I was only 10 years old at the time. My uncle and I were in one together and I was pretty mischievous back then so I just pushed every button I could see. Boy, he was mad when that happened!" Bruce told her. "I was grounded for a week after that." He added, laughing at the memory.

Jenny and Sandra felt happy, because even if they'd only known them for a day and a half, they felt like they were already forming a friendship with them.
