When Ivan heard the gunshot he froze,  knowing it was aiming right towards him.

The bullet had pierced through his stomach,  leaving him to collapse on the now bloody ground,  next to Wang.

Wang.

His love,  was now holding the gun to his head,  crying.  Ivan wanted to yell at him but to breathe was getting hard.  He was going to die soon.

Then everything went black.  There were screams.  But all was peaceful.
Ivan felt a mask be put on his nose and mouth,  probably to keep his breathing steady.

The thing that bugged Ivan most in his experience is that he never heard another gunshot.  Wang never killed himself,  either that or Ivan just blacked out before he heard the gun. Which was a good thing that he didn't witness that.  He would've seen a bullet shoot through his loves head,  only leaving a cold body left on the ground,  bleeding right next to his own.

Ivan had been brought the hospital,  immediately submerged into unconsciousness once again to get the bullet taken out and to get stitched up.  Wang was by his side the whole time.

He never died.

Days passed until the doctors let people visit Ivan.  His first visitor was Wang.  Supposedly he stayed at the hospital the whole way through,  he never left.  But neither did his sisters,  who found him laying on the floor.

Then Alfred walked in the room,  silent,  glaring at Ivan.  Ivan glared right back.  "Satisfied?" Ivan asked,  his words slurred from not speaking in days.  Alfred only nodded and walked towards Ivan and whispered,  "you should of died. Wang should of died."

Ivan was confused,  but alive.
But Alfred's words stuck with him as Al walked out of the room, again silent.
Thoughts passed through Ivan's mind of what Wang's perspective must of been like,  to see a person drop a gun,  giving up on commiting suicide but still getting shot in the stomach by a gun that wasn't even in anyone's hand.  Willing to shoot himself over Ivan.  Something nobody else would ever do. Wang was willing to die alongside Ivan.
His sisters would of come in only to see two dead bodies on the floor of their once-living brother.  Then they would of has to tell Wang's brothers that he was no longer living.  He was never going to come back to his humble home to his out-going brothers.

But that didn't happen. It was completely different,  they both lived.
They both held a gun to themselves but lived.  All for acceptance and love.

But it was all worth it in the end.
