Chapter nine

                                    

                                          
After I finally ate breakfast I went outside for a breath of fresh air. As I stepped out a breeze came and blew on my face as I let out a relieved sigh. I decided I would re-explore the village since I don't remember where anything is. I was walking by the fountain that I had first been ditched by Kankuro at, when I saw Omaru.
                          
"Omaru!!" He turned his head and when he saw me he smiled and started to make his way over to me. 
                          
"Hey Shallyn! It's been a while where have you been? Are you ok?" He asked looking worried. I rolled my eyes tired of those questions.
                          
"Yes I'm fine but Kankuro got sick and I had to take care of him, due to Gaara-sama and Temari being busy." I said ruffling my own hair. Omaru gave me a weird look before going back to smiling.
                          
"So have you talked to the Kazekage about moving out yet?" He asked with a hopeful look on his face. I felt bad because with the past events with Kankuro, I knew there was no way I would be allowed to leave the mansion.
                          
"I'm afraid some events have occurred in the past three days that leave me unable to leave the mansion." I chose my words very carefully. I didn't want to hurt his feelings or anything, but I couldn't leave Kankuro, nor did I want to. After I said that he looked very sad. 
                          
"Will you at least come visit me every once and a while?" He asked still upset but with a slightly hopeful face.
                          
"Sure I will!" He looked extremely relieved at my answer. Omaru let out a huge breath before looking me straight in the eye and smiling.
                          
"Are you free to hang out now or are you doing something?" He asked swinging his arms around and clasping them behind his back. I opened my mouth to answer when I was interrupted.
                          
"Actually Gaara asked me to start training her so go play somewhere else." Kankuro said appearing out of no where. Stepping in front of me protectively like Omaru would hurt me, and growling. I face palmed, 'this is getting ridiculous.'
                          
"Really?" Omaru asked both getting up in each other's face. If this was another situation I would be happy to guys were fighting over me, but now I was not thrilled. I mean my favorite anime character who pretty much just confessed to me, or a really hot guy, both whom I just met. Back in America I was lucky if the most unattractive, unpopular boy in school looked at me, but now.......
                          
"Guys please stop." I said getting I between them, but that seemed to do nothing.
                          
"You can't decide what she does." Omaru said or well, shouted.
                          
"But you see she's been put under my care, personally by the Kazekage!" Kankuro shouted right back. Both still advancing on the other.
                          
"Yeah because that's why you left her by the fountain on the first day, and that also why she was taking care go you when you were sick!" Kankuro's face distorted before stepping foreword to yell some more. I gave up right there. I turned and walked over the the fountain and sat and zoned them out. I wasn't snapped out of my day dream until I heard Temari yelling.
                          
"YOU TWO! KNOCK IT OFF!" She yelled whacking them both on the top of the head with her fan. "What are you even arguing about?" She asked. They both crossed their arms, pouting and looking to the side while blushing. At this Temari raised an eyebrow. I finally decided to make my entrance and show them I was not happy.
                          
"Temari! Thank god your finally here they've been fighting forever. I tried to stop it but I almost got squished so I just gave up." I said trailing off at the end. Temari looked mad and hit them both on the head one more time before grabbing my wrist and dragging me away.
                          
"Come with me Shallyn, there's someone in Gaara's office waiting to meet you."
