Chapter 15: The Happy Ending

                                    

                                          
"Oi! Zoey! Daniel!" You called out to your twins. When you saw them... you couldn't believe how they looked. Zoey looked like you, Daniel, on the other hand, looked more like his father. Having his dark brown hair and amber-colored eyes. Zoey only had cat ears, Daniel had both ears and a tail. How could you give birth to those beautiful children of yours? "Come on, everyone's waiting!"
                          
"Sorry Mommy!" Zoey says. Both were 7 years old, and the most adorable looking. "Sorry we're late..."
                          
"Don't say sorry to me, Zoey. Say sorry to your friends, they've been waiting for a while."
                          
"Don't worry, Mommy!" Daniel shouts as they both rushed to the living room, where their friends were. 
                          
They greeted them and you sighed. "Hey, (y/n), bit stressful?" Eren asks as he rubbed your shoulders. 
                          
"Yeah... just handling them is a bit... chaotic..."
                          
"But I'm glad that they're like this, (y/n). That way it's not quiet in the house..."
                          
"You're right, Eren... they're fun to have."
                          
"And... I bet it doesn't hurt to ask for a bit more-"
                          
You start to scoff at him, he's been dropping hints about having more children. "Eren-"
                          
He then stops you from speaking, "Ah! Please, I'll tell you my reasoning!"
                          
You sighed, giving up into his pleas. "Sure... why do you want more children? Isn't having Zoey and Daniel a bit of trouble" to take care of? They are twins, you do know that, right?"
                          
He smiles, "Of course I know... but I would love to carry a small child in my hands again... it's been 7 years since I held a child like that... please... I'm begging you."
                          
What races in your mind was deciding whether or not you wanted to have more. He did provide a good point, you could hold another small child in your hands, to give another life. But... how much work are you willing to sacrifice for the new child? "Alright... just one more child, and that's it."
                          
"Heh... you can't promise me if it's only gonna be one kid or more... maybe triplets-"
                          
"I'm gonna stop you right there, Eren. Don't you dare jinx it on me. I want to have 1 more child, and that's what I'm hoping for."
                          
He smirks at you, "Alright... I won't ruin your dreams. I would say that we should have some alone time, but the kids are right there..."
                          
"The only alone time we get is at night, when they're all asleep..." You joke as he pulled you close. It's not bad... having little cat children and all... especially if Eren's one... You guess that this is your happy ending.
