"Shhhh waking her is deadly, just let her be, she will wake on her own soon enough..."
"We need to get going don't we?...now"
"(YYYY/NNNNN)!!!!" I swing my arm up, punching whoever just woke me up.
"You little bitch!!!!" I growl as I glare daggers at the person who interrupted my sleep.
I get extra furious when I see who it was, "POPPY!!!!" I tell and she squeals holding her face as she takes off running"
"Warned you!!!!!" Branch yells chuckling as I chase poppy around a tree.
"Wait till I get my hands on you!!!!" I yell.
She chuckles nervously as she keeps running," well at least you have a pep in your step for once!!" Poppy yells back.
Poppy then falls over a tree stump.
"Now your dead..." I growl as I make my way towards her.
" you know you need to find healthier ways to deal with anger..." she gulps nervously, looking at branch for help most likely thinking, 'save me from the psychopath'.
"(Y/N)!!" Branch yells, getting me to glance toward him.
"Come here...I got hot wings!!" He bargains.
"Foood?"
"Yes food"
I look back at poppy and let loose a little fake smile,"your lucky this time"
I run to branch stealing the hot wings.
"Next time, let her sleep cause all you did was waste more time.." branch sighs.
With that, the little distraction is brought to an end and we continued on our way.
As we were walking, Poppy had fallen into the same exact pace as me with Branch leading us, and through out the walk she was constantly trying to start conversation.
"Sooo um how are you not with any other trolls?" She asks and I glance over at her, not really wanting to answer, but I do anyway.
" I was with you guys, though I doubt your little village gives a damn" I grumble.
She quiets down for a second and looks at me with hurt eyes," you shouldn't use bad words" I shrug.
"Why not it gives me my own personality" I say.
"Cause it's wrong"
" didn't know I had to obey rules I ain't apart of"
She chuckles, "guess not"
I smile at her I gotta admit she's growing on me, but she still gets under my skin at points.
"...what happen to your parents" I froze on the spot at her question.
" I mean I haven't seen them around the village, and I didn't see them when we went to your tree?" She pushes.
"It don't matter their gone..." I say looking at my feet.
"Ohh I'm sorry for--" I cut her off.
"You don't have the right to feel pity..." I say and jog a little to catch up with branch as we reach the tunnels that lead to Bergen town.
"Uhhh which one is it?" Poppy asks and branch responds.
"I don't know"
I spaced out the rest of the conversation as poppy's question of my parents kept creeping its way into my head, heck I didn't even notice when a cloud wearing socks came down.
This day is bad already and I just know it's going to get worse as time passes.
Why didn't I stay asleep...
A/n: hey I am sorry I am not posting the chapters much lately just everything's a little harder I was in the hospital cause I was just diagnosed with diabetes and it's been a hell of a time trying to figure that out and balance my blood sugar.
