Chapter 12: Unexpected Guest

                                    

                                          
Eren decided to start work a part time job, and you came home early. But, outside your door, you see someone standing there. He was a cat, because his tail moved and his ears twitched. You don't recognize him. Black hair, hair was shaved at the bottom... He looked similar to Mikasa.
                          
"Uh... Excuse me?" You say and he turned around. Up close, he had similar eyes to Mikasa, gray but had a hint of blue mixed in. "Do you... Need something?"
                          
The man sighed, "Know anyone by the name of Eren? Eren Jaeger?"
                          
You nod, "Of course, he's my boyfriend."
                          
"Boyfriend?"
                          
"Yeah, and Eren should come back here in a couple minutes... You're welcome to stay for awhile."
                          
"Thanks... Uh..."
                          
"Oh, my name's, (y/n). What's yours?"
                          
"Levi."
                          
"Nice to meet you."

"(y/n)! I'm back!" Eren shouts as he enters the room. "Want me to make you some-" He stops as he sees Levi. "L-Levi..."
                          
Levi stands up, looking at him, "It's nice to know that you found someone, Eren..."
                          
Eren stares right back at, holding back tears. "Why... Why did you leave-"
                          
He sighs, "Eren, Hanji she took care of me... And besides, she captured my heart. And I'm sorry if I had to leave you behind. But now, I see you're in good hands, and I must say, you're lucky to have a girl like (y/n). Don't lose her."
                          
Levi then left the apartment, leaving Eren on tears. "Eren... Who-"
                          
"He was my mentor... The one that left me for his little lover... Why did he come back? Only to say good luck?"
                          
You wrapped your arms around him, burying your face into his chest, "Well... You're not alone... You got your friends, Mikasa, Armin. You have them."
                          
"And you... I got you..." He starts to purr, "You're more important than the others..."
                          
"Aww... Eren... That's not true..."
                          
"Yes it is, and you for nothing to prove it." He kisses your cheek, "I'll do anything for you."

After a while, Levi came back again with someone, you probably guess that it was his girlfriend. She had dark brown hair and brown eyes, a pair of glasses on her face, and she had a totally different personality from Levi.
                          
"Ah... You must be (y/n)... The one taking care of Eren." She shakes your hand.
                          
"Yep, I am."
                          
"My name's Hanji, Hanji Zoe, Levi's girlfriend. Wow... You look different than I expected..."
                          
"Ah... Different how?"
                          
She then looks down on the floor, "Well... I expected you to also be a cat... After all, Eren hardly trusted humans when I saw him... And seeing how he is with you... Wow, you're pretty good at talking to cats."
                          
You laugh, "Similar to what Eren said. He said that he didn't expect me to help and support him when we first met... But, he's really sweet."
                          
"I hope we're gonna good friends, as long as you take care of Eren."
                          
You laugh again, "Mikasa said something similar as well. Asking me to promise that I was gonna take care of Eren."
                          
Hanji laughs, "Well, everyone worries about him, mischievous and all... Messed with my stuff, most of the times."
                          
"Well, it was nice to meet you, Hanji." You say as you waved goodbye. I guess these unexpected guests aren't that bad... But being protective of Eren, that's not a problem...
