P.o.V Scott

We were sitting in the waiting room of Alli's doctor with our parents. I held her hand because I knew she was nervous and excited. Today was the day on which we would find out wether our baby was a girl or a boy. My Mom and her went into the room and I stayed here with Chris and Stiles, who had insisted to come with us. We didn't talk. The three of us were way too excited.
The doctor came back twenty minutes later and told us to come in too. Alli was lying on a kind of table and smiled.
"Who is the father?"
"Of her or of the baby?", Stiles asked.
"The baby, obviously." Alli laughed.
"Me." We smiled at each other lovingly.
"Name?"
"Scott McCall. I'm her boyfriend." It felt so good saying this. Boyfriend. I was actually her boyfriend. Allison Argent was my girlfriend. It was still so hard to believe that. I still felt like waking up.
"Come over here, Scott.", the doctor said.
I took Alli's hand and kissed her forehead.
"Let's go."
I couldn't see anything on the monitor but the doctor could somehow.
Suddenly I saw a movement.
"Scott! That's our baby!" Tears were shining in her eyes and I felt them too. Mom was sobbing quietly in the background.
"Yes. I can see it."
"Do you want to know the gender?"
"Yes!", we said at the same time and laughed.
"Soulmates, huh?", the doctor asked us and we smiled at each other. That sounded good. Yeah, she was my soulmate. I promised to myself to never let this girl go. Alli was to precious to lose her.
"It's a girl."
A girl! Wow, I would be the Dad of a little girl! At this exact moment I made a vow to myself to protect her at all costs. My little girl.
Later that day Alli and I were cuddling in my bed.
"Do you think she'll be like you?"
"I don't know. I'll ask Deaton but I think there is a pretty high chance that she is a little wolf. To be honest, I don't hope so. It is a curse."
"Scott, it isn't. You are beautiful. And I will always love you, no matter what you are."
"You don't think I'm a monster?"
"No. I told you I'm not scared of you, remember? And not all monsters do monstrous things. You're not a killer and you are not a monster, Scott. You are a werewolf. A true Alpha. You didn't kill for your power. You earned it. You are a good person and you'll always be. And you are in great control. It's full moon tonight and you haven't attacked me yet."
"It still takes a lot of concentration. I need something to hold on to in order to stay grounded. To stay human."
"You mean like an anchor?"
"Yeah. That's exactly what it's like."
"What are you holding on to?"
"You."
"No, I didn't mean right now. Right now we're cuddling so of course you're holding on to me. I meant, who is your anchor?"
"I know."
"I am?"
"Yes. You keep me human. And you keep me alive."
"Don't be so dramatic."
I am not, Allison. You really keep me alive, I thought. But I wasn't ready to talk about what happened last spring.
