"Do I look okay?" I ask Stella while looking at myself in the mirror. "You look perfect. I'm sure Zac will love your dress." She smiles and I nod. I'm still not sure whether I look okay. I always get insecure when it comes to dressing up for dates.
"Okay." I took a deep breath before turning around to look at Stella. "I can do this." I said to myself and smiles. "Come on." I took her hand and we walk down the aisle as if I'm getting married.
Stella opened the door for me as if I'm a queen. "Good luck Ness." She smiled at me and I nod.
I walk towards my car and drove to Venice. While driving, I could not stop thinking whether this would go on well.
Upon arriving, Venice's still filled with people but not as many people you can see during the day.
Plus it's dark so...I just hope that only a few people will notice us.
"Ness?" I turn around and see Zac looking handsome. Yes I mean it.
"Hey." It's the only word that I could say.
"Good thing you came." He laughs.
"Of course I came."
"Come." He offers me his hand and I took a deep breath before holding his hand.
While we were walking to somewhere (I really have no idea where he's taking me), I'm shivering. I don't know why.
Suddenly, Zac laughs. "Are you okay? You seem to be nervous or whatever."
"I am."
"Why? Is it because I took you to a date?" He ask me. I couldn't help but admit the truth. "Yeah."
He gave a small laugh, "I could see it in your eyes." I nod.
"Before continuing..I....uhh...can blindfold you?" He ask. "Uhh okay." Although deep inside, I really don't want to do this blindfold thing.
Then he put a long face towel around my eyes. "Can you see anything?" You just covered me with that face towel. Duhh!
"No."
"Okay then." The he put each of his bands on each of my shoulders as he slowly guides to....who knows.
A few minutes later, he slowly untied the face towel and I'm surprised by my view.
There's a red colored blanket and candles surrounding it. There's some food as well.
I don't know what to say.
"So...do you like it?" He asks. "Like it? I love it!" I exclaimed before hugging him tightly as I could. "Thank you so much!" I said to him and he hugged back.
"You're welcome."
Then he let go and grabbed his speakers as well as his iPod. Then 'Start of Something New' started playing. This is probably the best date ever.
"Shall we?" He offered his hands while smiling. "Sure."
Then the two of us started dancing to the song that was sung by us ages ago.
"Do you think that I made this kind of...quite far already?" He ask. "No."
"Look at the moon though." He points at the moon and I turn around to look it.
The moon's full. "It's beautiful." I said in a calm tone.
He smiles, "Like you."
"What do you mean?"
He sighs, "It's nothing....I take it back." Then he leans over to the speakers and turns it off.
"Zac, what's wrong?" I ask him. "Like what I said, there's absolutely nothing wrong." He smiles but I'm not sure whether that smile's real or not.
I nod.
