Whoever came up with the saying 'abscence makes the heart grow fonder' told no lies. It hadn't been a full two days and Gunna was already missing Olivia. Today made three months of them dating consistently. Instead of being wrapped up in bed with Olivia, Gunna was at Si and Laila's place meeting with Silas, Karron, and Caleb making plans to move in on Black's crew.
Silas made sure that Karron and Caleb learned faces, addresses, and schedules before allowing anything to go down. At first Gunna was salty about them being thrown into his mix, but since he had Olivia, he was thankful for the extra help.
Instead of him spending days at a time watching niggas, the task was split between three people.
Olivia wasn't one of those nagging chicks that blew up a nigga's phone whenever he was out late, and Gunna was thankful for that. Liv had her own thing going on and as long as he checked in and let her know that he was good, she was fine with that.
"So everything is everything, you sure this nigga don't suspect nothing?" Karron asked Silas in reference to Black.
Karron and his brother Caleb were fresh faces that no one knew but he still didn't need any hiccups. Although they were born and raised in South Carolina, Atlanta was where they now resided. If Si didn't need the assistance of an unknown face, or it wasn't a holiday, Karron or Caleb wouldn't be caught in South Carolina.
"Positive," Si spoke up. "I kept everything business as usual."
Caleb smirked at his Uncle's revelation. Silas was a smooth fucking criminal and he strived to be just like him.
"Cool, cool, so when you trying to put everything in motion? Its been cool chillin' with you niggas and all that, but I'm ready to get my ass back home." Caleb cut in.
"Ain't like you got nobody there waiting on ya ass," Karron added, causing the other men to laugh. "Nigga be in the house playing Call of Duty all day, pretending like he get pussy."
Caleb pushed Karron. "Nigga fuck you!"
"Alright, alright," Silas laughed, stepping in between the two. Caleb and Karron had been at each others throats since they were little, and it was amusing for Gunna to see that nothing had changed.
There were times the brothers had gone toe to toe. One thing about it though, they would never allow anyone else to try that shit. They'd fight all day, but when it came to someone else stepping to one of them, just be ready to deal with them both.
"Niggas still childish as hell," Gunna laughed.
"Fuck you Rico Suave!" Karron spat, playfully pushing Gunna. "Don't make us beat your ass like we used to when we were little." He joked.
Gunna pushed him back. "Nigga we ain't little no more, and I damn sure don't do no fighting. Try that shit now and I guarantee a bullet with your name."
"Wow, so you done grew into your light skin huh cuz?" Caleb laughed. "Nigga too pretty to fight bruh, don't wanna damage his skin and shit." He laughed, turning to dap up Karron.
Both Karron and Caleb were dark like Silas. If one didn't know, they'd assume that Silas was their father.
Gunna cracked up. "That shit racist as fuck. Hate you dark ass niggas man."
"Nigga, black people can't be racist!" Karron frowned. "And I don't even know if we should allow your light bright ass a nigga pass. Still ain't figured out if you were black or not."
"Here you go," Gunna sighed. The white boy joke had been one he used to fight them about in their younger days. "Don't worry nigga, your girl was confused too... But I dropped my pants and cleared all that up."
