About: Katie's worrying about her appearance like any other girl. It's up to Travis to let her true beauty shine.

Time: About twelve years after the Giant War. Katie and Travis have moved in together and are married. Katie is still pregnant.

Here it is!

Travis' POV:

Katie twisted in front of the mirror, her hands on her swollen stomach.

"Travis!" she cried out turning to me. Her lips were set in a pout. "Do you think I look fat?" she moaned.

I smiled sympathetically. "Of course not Katie-kat." I walked over to her and put my arms around her waist. "You'll always be beautiful to me."

Katie still didn't look convinced. Her eyebrows furrowed as she looked at our intertwined reflections in the mirror.

An idea floated into my head. "What do you think?" I asked her.

"What?" Katie looked bewildered.

"What do you see? In the mirror, I mean. What do you think of yourself?" I elaborated further on my plan.

Katie sighed, but decided to humor me. "I... To be honest, I don't know why you would stay with me. I'm definitely not pretty, I'm at all strong, not like you, especially not now... I'm not smart..."

I frowned. Katie bit her lip. She twisted out of my grip and walked over to the bed. "The only thing I'm good at is gardening." her voice trembled. "And that's just-"

"Katie?" I interrupted her. If I had to hear just how lame she thought she was, I might just burst. "Do you really think those?" I asked.

Katie's eyes welled with tears and she looked away, harshly wiping the droplets away.

"Katie? I'm so sorry, I didn't mean it to come out like that." I desperately tried to cheer her up. As I beheld Katie's crumbled state, I realized it was time for phase two.

"Let me tell you what I think when I look at you." I smiled weakly at Katie. She wiped the tears from her eyes, frowning at me.

"What?" she asked roughly. "What do you see?"

I turned her back to the mirror. "I see a beautiful girl that is obviously half-goddess. You know what?" I said to Katie's reflection. "I truly think she could be a goddess herself."

Katie's lips trembled but lifted just slightly.

"In fact, just between you and me, I swear she's more gorgeous than Aphrodite! Honest."

Katie giggled at my serious face.

"I see an amazingly strong, courageous girl who has survived two wars and millions of struggles. Not to mention put up with a guy like me." I sat beside Katie on the bed as she leaned her head on my shoulder, slowly calming down.

I put my arm around her, my smile widening.

"This girl is one of the smartest non-Athenian girls I know. She is logical and always keeps me in line." I stuck my tongue out at the mirror and Katie laughed, swatting my arm.

"This certain girl is the most amazing girl I know. I fell in love with her the moment I met her, even if I didn't know it then. I bugged her and bugged her because I wanted her attention."

"She always knew it!" Katie joined in with my little story. I put a finger to my lips, mockingly furrowing my brows. "Shh," I scolded, even though there was a smile on my face. "This is my story!" I gently poked her stomach and she giggled.

"Oops!"

I grinned and put both my arms around her, resting my head on Katie's shoulder. "Now where was I? Oh, yes... The only was she would talk to me was if she was yelling at me. I was okay with that because she looked so cute when she was mad.

"Her eyebrows would furrow up and she would yell at me with those cute pink cupid's-wings-shaped lips of hers.  When she glared at me, it would make her amazing green eyes shine that I would drown in and say something stupid.

"She would wave her arms around and when she ran after me, it would totally show off her beautiful body."

Now Katie was out-right laughing. I chuckled along. I was glad she was happy. I always hated seeing Katie sad.

My story was not perverted! Don't say that. Don't give me that 'yeah-right' look either. Just- You know what? I'm not listening to you! LALALALALALA!!!!!!!!!!

"You are so weird, Travis." Katie exclaimed when she calmed down. She leaned back into my chest and sighed contentedly.

"Do you really think all those things?" she asked. "About me?"

I nodded. "Of course. They say people can't be perfect Katie-kat. But to me, you're the closest anyone can get. If you're trying to be perfect, Katie, you should know, to me, you already are."

Katie blushed, busying herself with her feet. "Thank you." she whispered. "You have no idea what it means to a girl to hear that."

My smile grew bigger. With that thought, the two of us basked in the calm, peaceful silence that followed.

How's that folks?

I got sentimental writing that because to be honest, I have never in my life been told anything close to that.

I would love to someday hear something like that.

:') Enough sappiness. Here's the update for my celebration! SCHOOL IS OVER!!!!

Anyway, now that summer has started, I can update more.

Have a great summer, everyone! I hope it's full of ninjas and assassins! Mine will be(because of Naruto)!
