PRETTYMUCH A BUMMER

                                    

                                          
His name was Caleb Zion Kuwonu, The guy ive been secretly dating for the past year now, yeah it's PRETTYMUCH a bummer. The day I met Zion was on a Saturday night at the beach, it was late about 10 PM, I needed a place to get away from just life and enjoy the nature in front of me, the sand the waves of the ocean and the beautiful starry sky. While I was gazing up wishing upon a star, that's when I heard humming from the distance, the humming was clear and a catchy tune.  
"Where's it coming from..?" 
                          
I asked myself snapping back into reality, looking around but since it was so dark outside I couldn't really see a thing, but I wasn't about to give up as the humming eventually turned into singing, the voice sounded so clear and smooth. 
"Hello..?" 
I called out loud, but the waves over lapped my voice, so the singing continued. I got up from the bench taking little steps as I could hear the voice getting closer and closer...that's when I stopped when I finally noticed him. Mr kuwonu.  He was against a tree with his arms behind his Head and his eyes closed. My eyes immediately locked on the attractive young man, I couldn't stop staring..his voice his looks..mesmerizing..I decided it would be best to just get back home since it was pretty late, but as soon as I took took one step, my shoe got caught on a branch on the ground, causing it to make a sound. I tensed as soon as his singing stopped. I quickly placed my back against a tree near me as he looked around. I thought he was just about to start singing once again but he stood up and started to walk away. I sighed softly looking back at the tree, he was gone.
"Was he there the whole time..?"
I asked myself scratching my head. That's when I felt a hand touch my shoulder, making my whole upper body  tense up. When I turned around there he was..standing right there in front of me. 
                          
"Were you spying on me..?"
                          
He asked me with an eyebrow raised and a slight smile on his face. I couldn't help myself but look into his gorgeous brown eyes. 
"U-Uh i..no..."
I said with a stammer and my cheeks becoming a light red. He rubbed his neck gently leaning against the tree. 
                          
"Hmm you sure? I mean you're the only one here..behind this tree.." he said jokingly but I sure couldn't tell. I was too focused on the way he was looking at me. I let out a soft nervous giggle looking down to my side, I then finally got myself together.
                          
"I was not spying on you..i just heard your voice and-"
                          
"Was I that loud..?" He interrupted, laughing as well. 
                          
"N-No no not at all I-I just..I was..near you..- Near by.." I said quickly looking back into his eyes. 
                          
"So you were spying on me..huh?" He laughed more which made me feel even more tense around him, for some quite reason. I shook my head once again. 
                          
"No I wasn't- I..-"
                          
He nod his head "I know I know I'm just messing with ya..don't look so nervous.."
                          
He grinned looking back into my eyes. I didn't know what to say..i felt so tense and embarrassed and I didn't even do anything, my heart was pounding heavily in my chest, as it could just come out my body any second. I just stood there, moving a strand of loose hair behind my ear, with a stupid smile on my face. Both of us on the grass, with smiles on our faces and our eyes looking deep into each others, well at least mine was. Our silence broke as soon as his phone buzzed, he quickly grabbed his phone from his pocket and checked it before looking back at me.
                          
"Well..its getting pretty late..i should head back.." He said with a shrug, putting his phone back in his pocket. I nod my head slowly, wishing he didn't have to go so soon, but the feeling was too overwhelming and I was soon to break. 
                          
"Yeah..me too.." 
                          
"It was nice meeting you..Uh..?"
                          
"Lia"
                          
"Well..Lia..it was nice meeting you.."  He was just about to turn around and walk away but he stopped and looked back at me.

                          
"Maybe I might catch you around here tomorrow..?"
                          
He said with an ear to ear grin and a shrug with his hands out.
                          
I bit my lip trying my best to not blush so much, hopefully he didn't notice. I then smirked, beginning to walk away from him before saying "Maybe you will Maybe you wont.."
                          
He shook his head playfully as he watched me head back towards the driveway, then headed back himself in the other direction.
