"Without realizing it The Host found himself tossing the book aside as it had began to annoy him" Host mumbled as he did as he narrated, You rolled your eyes as you rolled yourself into a little burrito. "Ah, but yet the Host's dear friend would try to get the host's attention but he was to deep in his thoughts as he crossed his legs." Host narrated once again as he crossed his legs, you put on a pouty face as you began inching forward in your three layered blanket burrito. "She goes to say something but...The host quickly realized the mistake he's made. He stands up as he see's the tears in his friends eyes." You look down as you tried to hide in the blanket.
Back when you were a child a some man found it entertaining to rip your vocal cords out and sew your mouth shut. The man left you in a pool of you own blood as you silently choked on it. After you managed to get your self under control you stumbled around the abandoned building. In you hopeless wandering you heard the silent sniffles and coughs.
By the way the cry sounded the person had to be young, you would guess 11-13. You painfully made your way toward the cries when you found the young boy propped up against a rickety desk. There was a bandage wrapped tightly around his eyes and head, stained red with what you assumed to be blood. He stopped crying before looking up at you, he then proceeded to softly narrate, "The Host wonders who is there, thinking the footsteps might be a danger to himself." You tilted your head as you drew closer, lightly tapping on the desk, what else would you do? "The Host jumped at the tapping but realizes that the light tapping must be of another person. The Host sits himself up as he looked over at the unknown person. But he believed they would bring him no harm. But the Host wonders who is there, noting their silence" Your small smile fell as you gently took his hand within your own, he flinched but you lightly tapped his hand. You then brought his hand up toward your neck, dragging his hand across the still somewhat fresh wound, then you his hand up toward the stitches around your mouth. "The host then realizes why he has not heard the girl talk, she is forced to be mute. Sorrow fills him as he stands and he extends his hand to help the girl up." You smiled as you took his hand.
~Back to Now Time~
Small tears ran down your face as you sunk further into the blanket. The bed dipped down a little as the Host sat next to you. "The Host takes a seat by his now saddened friend as he apologizes for being so terribly forgetful. He would then ask for her to peak her head out of her blanket" He spoke softly as he looked over at you. You did pull your head out of the blanket. As you looked over to the Host he pressed a soft kiss to your forehead. You couldn't help but blush as you covered your face. The Host laughed, "The Host hops he has cheered his friend up, but he also would like a blanket as he noticed a temperature change." He said.
You opened the blanket as you tackled him into a hug. He jumped as you touched him. "The Host Didn't realize how cold his friend's hands!" He said as he laughed. You laughed silently as you placed your head on his shoulder. You two remained in this comfortable position for until you fell asleep.
