It's been about 20 years now since I met branch, and we seem to have gotten a lot closer over time, plus he's been keeping me a secret from the other trolls like he had promised. Since that time that I feel asleep in the tree and he brought me back to his place, I have a tendency of randomly passing out in his banker, afterwards he always gives me a lecture about how I need to watch my health and I always end up shrug him off.
At the moment though, I am at my own house getting a bag together to go see branch. Honestly, I been a little distant lately, ever since the princess, Poppy, started coming around more trying to drag Branch into the 'fun' as she calls it. Which in order to keep me from being known I have had to either hide, or completely ditch branch when ever I sensed her sparkly, perky personality. It literally makes me gag when ever she's even a mile close to me. I hear knocking sounds at my door and I instantly yell, "do you really need to knock branch?!"
I say as I make my way to the door, and right as I am about to open it I sense someone else, why is little Miss peppy at my door...
This may be the day that branch becomes a dead man.
'No officer I swear he strangled himself to death!' I think to myself as I contemplate dashing pass them and into a Bergen's mouth, killing myself, or politely opening the door and welcoming the world of happiness into my home....yea....I'm gonna need a knife or rope to kill myself.
"Come on (Y/N), I swear I didn't tell her she found out herself" Branch pleads from outside the door and I can hear the guilt in his voice.
"Uhhh me no comprehended ingles" I respond, great now I'm Spanish.
But what really screwed me over was when Poppy began to also speak in Spanish.
"Me no comprehende espanol either"
"Dang it just open the door already!!!" Branch yells.
"Grrr fine, but if she does anything I don't like I can't promise her safety."I warn as I unlock my door letting them in.
" How did you find out about me?" I sigh.
"Umm you left this in Branch's bunker..." she nervously chuckles holding up one of my hoodies.
" How the heck? I never forget anything?!"I complain.
"Ok fine, I saw you walking out of Branch's and grabbed it as it was hanging out of your backpack with my hair..." Poppy says looking around trying to avoid my gaze.
I glare at her,"Greaaaaat the princess of aaaaall trolls is a thief nice" I say sarcastically and Branch chuckles.
"Your not out of punishment yet boy" I say and glare at him as well.
"Come on I told you the truth I didn't tell her"
"Don't mean you had to lead her to me!!!"I argue and he instantly goes silent.
"I win" I say getting in his face and he rolls his eyes.
"Aaanyway I just wanted to introduce myself and take you to the village to meet everyone. Ohhh and if we hurry we might make it back in time for hug time, then we can scrapbook our meeting...and" I cut Poppy off, "I knew I should have hung my self when I had the chance..." I sulk as I hide behind Branch.
"What I thought you were mad at me?"
"I'd rather deal with a traitor then captain ol'good times' over there ok..."I growl.
"Fine but if she comes in for a hug it's every man for himself..." branch responds.
"Come on it will be fun."Poppy urges as she chases me around Branch as he watches us with amusement in his eyes.
"I just met you and this is crazy" Poppy starts singing "but please just maybe stab me already!!!" I shout cutting her off.
"Ok that's enough, I've had enough fun getting even with (Y/N)" Branch says grabbing Poppy by her shirt and putting her to the side and facing her towards the corner.
"Wait get even with me for what...?" I question.
"Leaving me to deal with 'happy times' all by myself now you know the suffering I've been through and maybe next time you will help!" He scolds.
"Touché touché" I sigh as I lay on my couch trying to catch my breath.
"Poppy please do not tell anyone else about her" Branch asks on my behalf.
"Huh but why she's a troll she should be with other trolls." She reasons.
"Not everyone is like you Poppy, and anyway one of these days your antics are gonna get everyone eaten by bergens!" Branch argues.
"Here we go again Bergen this Bergen that, we haven't even seen a Bergen in 20 years!" Polly says jumping around my house as she examines my stuff.
" Why did I open that door" I whisper to myself and Branch gives me a guilty, I'm sorry for all this look, and since this is the first time I've had to deal with anyone other than him for sooo long, I really do not know what to say and honestly all I wanna do is push her out the door and lock myself in here, I just don't like talking to anyone, Branch is the only exception.
"Really I just heard a new troll has been found and you expect me to just forget it? heck no this calls for" she pauses and then Starts singing ,"Party rock is in the house tonight Everybody just have a good time (yeah)
And we gon' make you lose your mind (woo)"
I cover her mouth with my hand and give her a death glare.
"If you sing one more note, the I swear to Satan I will..." Branch backs me away from her.
"Gonna take a guess and say you just woke up huh" he says looking at me, I swear I don't know whether it's a bad or good thing that he knows me so well.
" and I agree (y/n) house is even closer to Bergen town and your singing will" Branch gets cut off.
"I know, I know I may lead a Bergen to us yada yada" Poppy goes to the door.
" But Nothing will stop me from telling everyone about you (Y/N) and I will make you one of us, one of us, one of us" poppy happily chants.
As soon as she is outside my house I slam the door in her face.
" I think I need to move" I joke to Branch and he chuckles a little.
"I'm sorry I know u didn't want to be dragged into this" he says and I shrug.
" I'll just have to deal with it, but right now I might need a stronger lock, and I will not let you in even if your about to be eaten"
" ha like heck I will, I got my bunker, I don't need this place."he teases.
"Hey I helped you build it..." I whine.
"Too bad you snooze you lose" he smirks and walks to the door.
"Ohh before I forget" I say and hand him the bag of food and water.
"This is for the bunker for when the lockdown is needed" I say and he nods carefully taking it from my hands.
"Thank you, bunker doors always open it you need me" he says.
"I knew you could never keep me out and I'll be over later just give me time to steady myself after the little...incident"
"Sounds fine by me"
He leaves and I once again lock my door and press my back against it as I slide down and hug my legs.
"Stupid stupid stupid..." I look out the little window and I watch him as he leaves.
" you don't think I know about your feelings for her moron..." I chuckle sadly as a tear slides down my face and I trudge my way to my bed and plop my self down as my hair covers my body wrapping me in its pitch black nothingness.
" maybe a little nap will make me feel better" I say as I curl myself into ball and silently cry myself to sleep. Just...why.
