She sat down and immediately got on her phone as she waited for her friend who happily sat down next to her
                          
"Kaycee its been too long!!" Her friend said
                          
"Bailey I literally saw you yesterday!" Kaycee laughed
                          
"I know and it was torture without you!" Bailey said as she started to eat the school lunch
                          
"Yeah you had math right?" Kaycee asked
                          
"Yup and it wasn't hard today because the girl in front of me was actually quiet today!" Bailey said
                          
"Who sits in front of you again?" Kaycee asked
                          
"The party girl Tati Mcquay!" Bailey said as she rolled her eyes
                          
"Oh..."
                          
"You know her or something?" Bailey asked noticing Kaycee's tone
                          
"...no not really..." Kaycee said shying away from the question
                          
"You do! Tell me!" Bailey said discovering the lie Kaycee had told
                          
"Well..."
                          
Tati POV
                          
The girl who sat across from me happened to get up and as she got up I noticed two girls on the other side of the room
                          
Kaycee and Bailey
                          
I made eye contact with Kaycee and in just a swift moment she broke it and went back to talking to Bailey
                          
I look around the room to see if something can take my mind off of it and I see Tahani getting playfully carried by one of the basketball players as she and some other girls join the boys table
                          
I still don't know fully understand what happened to us three

"Guys I'm scared" Kaycee said as we stood in front of the new high school building
                          
"You don't need to worry Kaycee the people at this school are nice!" Tahani said comforting our best friend
                          
"Easy for you to say, you're always so positive" Kaycee said
                          
"Well maybe you should be more positive  yourself Kayc"
                          
"Yeah I mean I got you my two best friends so this school year is off to a great start!" Kaycee said as we all took the first steps in the school together
                          
It was a lot of people but it wasn't loud or obnoxious just people being social before the first class period
                          
"TAHANI!" Some girls yelled as they came towards us, well mostly Tahani
                          
"Hey girls whats up?" Tahani said
                          
"Its tradition that all the cheerleaders have their lockers next to each other, hurry up so we can get you one!" one of the girls said
                          
Yeah Tahani tried out for being a cheerleader before the school year started and her dance background made her an easy choice for the team
