Nichkhuns pov
I got a text while I was hanging out with Allyson and her parents. Honestly Allyson's family is so amazing, I wish I had a family like that. And I say that because of the text I got. It was from my mom, I don't know what happened exactly but, a random number texted me saying this
'hello, your mother was admitted into the hospital recently and she wanted me to inform you of that'
The text was so formal it made me almost angry. I felt bad at the same time because I think I panicked Allyson by just running out of her house. I ran home, I have no idea why but, I did.
"What am I doing here" I whispered to myself as I ran my fingers through my hair. I stood next to my door using the wifi. I called barry.
"Hello?"
"BARRY! HI"
"HELLO"
"I need you help man. My mom-"
"What about your mom?"
"LET ME FINISH"
"okay sorry"
"I'm on edge dude okay. But she's in the hospital"
"Is she okay?"
"I DON'T KNOW"
"Oh."
"I need a ride there, can you like come and pick me up with your parents or something"
"I'll ask" I started to pace around my porch, barry stayed on the phone and I heard him asking his parents "we'll be there in 5" I sighed in relief and thanked him. Within 5 minutes they were here.
"Hey thanks. I'm sorry it's so last minute" barry stayed silent but, his parents spoke to me
"No problem" we drove in a very tense silence and we were at the hospital in 10. I ran inside and went to the front desk immediately.
"Horvejkul" I told her and she told me the room number E24. "MOM" I ran beside her bed.
"Hi honey" she patted my head
"What's wrong? what happened?" she looked very weak, it was weird because she was totally fine before I left to go to Allyson's.
"How'd you get here?" she asked me, dodging my questions to her. Barry and his parents walked in right at that second, answering her question. Barry's parents went to go talk to her and I walked out of the room trying to find the doctor, barry followed behind me.
"Doctor!" I ran up to him "do you know what happened to E24, Horvejkul?"
"Ah yes! Horvejkul, she had signs of a stroke. Who are you, in relations to her?"
"I'm her son. I knew she was eating bad" he laughed
"It's okay. You're lucky she called before it actually happened. Anyway, where's your father?" I didn't know doctors were able to ask questions like that, I wonder if he was just curious. I wanted to tell him in a way that would make him feel guilty for asking. I wasn't in the mood for anything lie this.
"What father?" I walked away and back to my moms hospital bed. Barry came in about a minute later telling me how the doctor looked after I had said that. He also asked me about Allyson's parents. It seemed to make me feel a bit better. That reminded me that I had to tell her what happened.
Allyson's POV
I was at home pacing in my room curious and worried of wha happened to Nichkhun. I got a text from Barry.
B- Hey, it's Nichkhun I ran out of data. But everything's okay it's just my moms in the hospital.
A- WHAT?! WHY?
I didn't get a text back after that I panicked and texted the girls asking them if they knew anything, they didn't. I became very worried and I felt horrible.
I walked downstairs and told my parents, they told me not worry because she was in a hospital now where she is safe. That put me to ease a bit, I it ready to sleep by changing into pajamas, brushing my teeth, etc. and I laid in bed trying to sleep it off.
