"What are you doing here?" Sara asked shocked to see her sat there on the waverider.
" I have a date with Ray. "
"What?" Sara asked a little taken aback by her choice of words.
" Hey Sara you're back, so let me see the ring, Quinn. "
Ray smiled taking the ring that Quinn pulled from her middle finger, a big gold snake that wound itself around her finger with pride and possession.
She couldn't remember a time when she hadn't worn it.
Quinn reluctantly took the ring from her finger and placed it in his hand, luckily she trusted the man to lend him possession of her precious ring, the only one she wore.
"What is going on?" Sara asked puzzled as she watched Ray run his eyes over the piece of jewelry.

"Quinn says there is something about this ring," Ray said distractedly.
"What something?" She turned her attention to Quinn.
"I had a visit from Savage, so I went to Rip he was useless of course but Ava told me there was something about this ring, it held more power than I could imagine."
Sara stood stunned, suddenly her mood change had made sense.
"We are there again Quinn, why didn't you tell us?"
"Because people keep threatening you on my behalf Sara and I'm getting fucking pissed off with it all." And Alex this time too.
"Well, Ray?"
"I think we should try and get the history of it first, and I know only one man who can help us."
"Nate." They all said together.
"Wow hey, guys happy to see me." The man smiled brightly as he chose that very moment to enter the room.
"Look at this, what can you tell us about it?"
"It's Quinn's ring, I have to tell you Quinn so many times I have wondered why you have a ring that is a representation of Apep on your finger." Nate smiled looking close at the ring.
