You crossed the space between the kitchen and the living room. You and Kim had been living together for 6 months now, and everything was amazing. You passed him an open beer which you had retrieved and sat down next to him on the sofa, cuddling up against him. You breathed in and allowed yourself to relax, completely content with how your life was. You felt Kim lean down and place a kiss on your forehead as you leaned further into him and placed your arms around his body. You faced him and looked into his eyes, admiring his perfect face. You were just about to press your lips against his when you heard loud noises coming from outside the door. Within seconds of you both turning your heads to the disturbance, the apartment door swung open, and ¾ of Soundgarden rushed through the door making a tonne of noise. You rolled your eyes, annoyed but amused at the same time. Chris ran over and jumped in the middle of the two of you, cuddling up to Kim and separating you completely. Ben went into the kitchen to supposedly bring out more beers and Matt made himself comfortable on the floor next to the TV, laughing at how Chris was splayed across you both on the sofa.

"Yes, come and disturb our peace, it's not like we wanted some time alone or anything." Kim said sarcastically, Chris replying by giving him a dorky smile. You scoffed as well, agreeing. While you loved the guys, you never spent a lot of alone time with Kim and wanted tonight to be special. You, however, silently accepted that you would have to do it another night, and wouldn't be able to spend a quiet night in. You leaned back in your seat and stared at the TV, occasionally sharing a laugh with the guys. After a couple of hours, you noticed the guys' beers were empty and offered to get some new ones.

"I'll help." Called Ben. You nodded your head and smiled at him as he followed you into the kitchen. You started handing him alcohol from the fridge and around the kitchen.

"I bet this wasn't how you were planning to spend your Saturday night." He said. You looked back at him in confusion.

"How do you mean?" you asked.

"Come on, you and Kimmy looked really comfy, and probably wanted to spend some time together, but we interrupted like we usually do." He said, struggling to carry the vodka bottles. You looked down to the floor, not wanted him to feel like they were a burden. Ben smiled kindly at you.

"Give me two minutes and we'll be out of your hair." He said suddenly, then quickly left the kitchen before you could ask what he was going to do. You walked back to the couch and sat down next to Chris.

"Hey guys, I'm gonna make a call." Ben got up and made his way to the back of the house. Once he came back, he had an excited grin on his face, contrasting against his usual moody personality.

"Chris!" Everyone turned to him, Chris jumping in shock from the noise.

"What?" he replied, slightly irritated that Ben was being that loud.

"Stone's at the Off Ramp and apparently Nancy Wilson just turned up." Ben's statement caused everyone to look at him in shock and excitement.

"Well let's fucking go!" Chris replied and him and Matt immediately jumped up and made their way to the door, with Kim laughing at their enthusiasm. You snuggled back into him, and as you looked towards the door, watching Ben leave, he turned around and sent you a wink and a reassuring smile. You were grateful for him in that moment.

You turned back to Kim and smiled up at him. He leaned down and kissed you, pulling you tighter into him. You spent the rest of the night cuddling each other and laughing at the TV. You couldn't quite fathom that you had met someone as amazing as him. But as you started to drift asleep, entwined in each other's arms, you knew that Kim would be the only person to make you feel as happy as you were.
