Valerie is not only really good at being a spy, she's also really good at makeup and styling hair.

Gabby has shades of silver, black, and purple on her eyes, black eyeliner winged at the edge of her eyes, her eyebrows are perfectly shaped, and her lips are a dark shade of red.

Her black hair is curled making her hair look much shorter. But it looks good.

I, on the other hand, have different shades of blue on my eyes, the same winged eyeliner, and my lips are a shade lighter than Gabby's.

Valerie is just full on bright. Her fuchsia and baby pink dress hugs her figure nicely and her shades of pink eye shadow and pink lipstick make her fair skin and red hair stunning. Her red hair has big waves and is let loose.

Odeo wears a dark blue suit with a blue and black striped tie. He looks dashing, if I do say so myself.

And I do tell him myself. After he compliments us first, of course.

"Okay, next. Serene, your hair." Valerie says.

I raise my eyebrows. "What's wrong with my hair?"

My brown hair falls past my shoulder and is in its natural wavy self.

She shrugs. "Nothing. We just need to change it up a bit so you don't get easily spotted. Sometimes it's the hair that can give things away."

"Says the girl with the bright red hair." Odeo retorts with a teasing smile.

Valerie laughs.

She helps me move towards the mirror on the wall and points to my hair. "You have blond streaks showing."

I follow her gaze and gasp. "Wait. So that means my original hair color is blond?"

She nods excitedly. "Let's dye your hair back to blond."

"Can't we just wait till the brown changes back?" Odeo asks.

Valerie waves him away. "Let me take care of this."

In another hour, I'm a whole new person. Valerie set up the bathroom like a salon.

"You're good." I comment, but Valerie's eyes are frozen. "Val?"

I turn around, no longer facing the wall and it takes a second before her frozen face relaxes again.

"What's wrong?" I ask, starting to panic. "What do I look like? Do I look bad?"

She faces me towards the mirror. I really do look different. The blond hair emphasizes my green eyes and my dark makeup.

"I feel prettier." I say softly.

She nods, smiling a bit now. "You look familiar though, don't you think?"

I study my face and tilt my head.

"Who do I look like?"

"Wait here." She commands. I listen, hearing the urgency in her voice.

What's going on?

She comes back in holding her phone. She shows me a picture and I gasp.

"Val..." I take deep breaths. "Are you sure?"
