--Ashley's POV--
                          
I got eyed by Kyera and she walked over to me and sat down beside me and whispered "how did it feel to ride Gear?" I froze. Had we really had sex? Was this a one night stand or some shit? I was scared to ask but my blush fixed it for me "ah, I see, next time I think you might wanna get a sound proof room!" she laughed and patted my back before rising up and walked away. Me and Gear had had sex. I couldn't get over it. I grabbed my phone and put on my headphones before listening to music.
                          
The landscape that was painted up inside of my head was a big gothic styled castle. It felt like something out of a story book or something that the evil vampires would live in. It scared me a bit but I quickly realized that it was Ada's home. Ada's parents were the king and queen of the vampires. They made all of the rules and were the ones in order to keep the rest of the vampires intact and friendly. 
                          
I was ripped away by the school bell telling me that I had 5 minutes to get to class. I rushed down the perfectly painted walls looking at the paintings when I realized that Kyera, Mark and Gear had their own paintings. I stopped to admire Gear for a while. I noticed that he looked younger here. Much younger. He still had his blue eyes and strong jaw. But his hair was... It was still blonde but he had something else to him.. There was something off. I looked at the date of the painting and took a step back. This had been painted 5 years ago. I shook my head and looked at the tag. It still said "Laurence Finch" beside his there was a painting of a red headed girl. I looked at the tag and it said "Nikki Finch" I sucked in a breath and realized that this was his twin. The one he had killed. I shrugged and rushed to class with thoughts of what would have happened if she survived. If she was still alive and comming back for him. I came into the classroom and noticed that every house was here. There was only one spot left, and it was beside Dante. I sat down and tried to ignore his stares. I noticed Elijah and shrugged. He was sitting next to Ada, that weird girl, and wait. Wait a second. Were they holding hands??
                          
--Elijah's POV--
                          
I wasn't so sure about holding her hand but I let her. I was still sceptical about this but well, what could she possibly do that was so horrible? I didn't think that people here saw her as weird. She was really friendly. I looked behind me and saw Ashley glare at me. I shrugged and went back to paying attention to class.
                          
When class was over we walked with eachother to lunch and I thought to myself Why is she being so nice to me? I am usually the hated one in all the schools.. AND WHY DID SHE ALWAYS HOLD MY HAND? I shrugged as we sat down with our food. She looked at me with wonder in her eyes. "So, why did you join the academy to begin with?" I felt like I have heard this question before but decided to ignore that fact and said "to look out for my little brother to be honest, he always gets in trouble or stuff like that" I shrugged as she giggled slightly "sounds like my brother then!" I looked at her with a questioning look "you have a brother?" she nodded hopefully and pointed over to another table where a man with black hair and blue eyes sat. His jawline was perfect with a slight hint of beard on it. He had a white t-shirt on and a pair of black pants. He looked formal in some way. Mabye it was the way he sat. I looked back at Ada "and who is that?" she smiled at my curiosity and said "his name is Vincent, he always gets into trouble and is hot-headed." I nodded and went back to eating. "what is he?" I asked out of pure wonder she smiled "vampire! just like I am!" I looked at her with big eyes. That explained why her eyes faded into lime green! I looked at her skin and shrugged "what are you doing when classes are over?" she shivered "I guess I am going to sit in the gardens, but I don't know really.." I smiled "why don't you join me and I'll introduce you to my brother!" her eyes lit up with excitement and she nodded "I'd like that!" I laughed a bit and kept on eating.
                          
After classes we went to look for Ashley, I guessed that he was with Gear but I was wrong. He was talking to Vincent about something. Ada grabbed my wrist and pulled me into a corner and we hid a bit listening to them. "Don't worry about Nikki, she is dead!" Nikki? Who? "But, I saw her picture and I could swear I saw her in class!" Ada shook her head and pulled me down and whispered "Nikki is Gear's sister, rumor has it he killed her when she killed someone dear to him" I sucked on my teeth. Had he killed his own sister for someone he loved? I had to tell Oliver this, he needed to be here with me. This was too good NOT to be here for. Especially because of how Oliver acts around people. "Please Vince! I need to know if she is dead or alive!" Ashley looked like someone had hurt him. Vincent shook his head "It is certain that she was hurt by Gear. She might be alive if someone healed her enough. Mabye like a blue blood." he stood up and patted him on the head before walking off. Ashley was left to think. Ada motioned for me to go first and I shook my head and mouthed "he needs to be alone" she nodded, dissapointed.
                          
As we walked back I realized that something was off with the school. When I came here it was full of life, now it was like someone had died recently. I shrugged and waved after Ada who walked inside of her house main room. I walked into mine and I got met by someone who was sitting close to Gear's chest. She had red hair and was about the same height as him. "Nikki, I know you missed me, but this is a bit over the top!" Gear shook his head as the girl tried to hug him. I sucked in a breath. Nikki? Was she alive?
