"I'm tired." Maddy mumbles, leaning her "head on her window. Calum laughs quietly, using the hand already rested on her thigh to lightly pinch it. She squeals, swatting at his hand.

"We can cuddle until you fall asleep when we get back." He offers, smiling lightly. A blush creeps up to her cheeks as she nibbles on her bottom lip.

"I'm taking you up on that offer, Cal." She promises, glancing at him quickly before turning back to look out the window.

As soon as they walk in Calum's room, he falls on the bed, bringing Maddy down with him by her wrists. She lets out a giggle as she straddles his waist and sits up, intertwining her fingers with his.

"This isn't what I meant by cuddle, but whatever you want, Mads." Calum says with a small smirk. Maddy snorts, hitting his chest with their hands.

"You idiot." She leans down so she is next to him as he tangles their legs together and wraps his arms around her small body. She rests her head on his chest as she starts to doze off.

"Would you shut up about that, Luke?" She is woken up later by Calum's frustrated and annoyed voice.

"I'm just saying, Miranda-"

"Maddy, Luke." Calum corrects.

"Maddy, seems like too much of a nice girl to fuck up."

"She's not the same, I actually really like her. So if you could mind your business-"

"Isn't that exactly what you said about Taylor? And then as soon as you fucked her, you broke that poor girl's heart." Maddy's eyes almost widen but she keeps them shut. Sure, this is considered eavesdropping, but she was too engrossed in the information to care.

"Maddy is nothing like Taylor. I really care for her, and sex is all Taylor wanted too." Calum defends.

"Taylor was practically in love with you, who knows what happened to her when she woke up and you weren't there." Luke scoffs.

"I left a note." Maddy can't help but remember a few months back when her best friend, Taylor, came crying to her at nine in the morning about the boy she had been seeing. He apparently slept with her the night before, claiming he loved her and left the next morning, only leaving a note behind. By now, she had already started crying because she too had fallen for his sick game. She finally opens her eyes and immediately scrambles out of his bed, catching both of the boys' attentions. "Mads, what's wrong?" Calum asks, standing from his seat, to grab her wrist.

"Don't touch me!" She yells, tugging her wrist from his grasp. He stares back at her with wide eyes before they suddenly filled with realization.

"Mads-" She cuts him off, storming out of his room, pulling her iPhone out as she does so. "Madison!" She can hear him yell her name, but she ignores him, pressing on her friend, Michael's, phone contact. She leaves the flat and quickly goes to the side of the building before Calum can run out.

"Hello?" Michael's voice rings through the speakers.

"Michael, can you come get me?" She asks with a shaky voice.

"Maddy? What's wrong, where are you?" He says with much more urgency in his voice.

"I'll explain on the way, and text you the address." She mumbles quietly, hearing Calum outside. He tells her he'll be there soon and she ends the call.

"Mads!" Calum calls, but Maddy only sits against the wall, bringing her knees to her chest and burying her head in the small space.
