> Hey guys just wanted to thank you for getting this book to 3,000 reads! That's so fucking cool. I really appreciate it! And since we made it to 3,000 reads I thought I'd update! Thank you guys so much again!
Read the AN at the end please! <I anxiously try to finish the final in the last five minutes of school. In six minutes I'll be out of these halls for the summer and off to a beach party. But right now I need to finish this test before time runs out so I can at least get a chance at getting everything right.
I've been stressed for the last three days. Two finals a day and of course the last one is Math. I literally have been stressing about this stupid final for the last week and I really need this to be over.
I struggle to remember the last formula and bite my finger. I look up and see Alya just simply checking over her answers simply. I take a deep breath seeing that I have only three minutes now and try my best to finish the last problem.
Just as I finish the last problem the bell rings. A few people cheer as the rush to give their tests to the teacher. I let out a long sigh before getting up and passing in my test.
"Have a good Summer Break, Marionette," the teacher says and I thank her before walking out of the room.
Alya is waiting for me outside the door. She slings her arm around my shoulder as I get closer and starts directing me in the direction of Nino.
"Don't look so glum, Mari," she says, "Adrien is picking us up in five minutes and in two hours we will be at a beach soaking in the sunshine."
"I'm just nervous," I admit. "I've never been good at math."
"You'll be fine, Mari," Nino says hearing our conversation.
"Yeah righ-"
"Marionette!"
We turn around and see Chloe and Sabrina walking over to us. I haven't actually talked to Chloe at all in the last couple of weeks so it's weird remembering that she's actually in my grade. She starts talking when she gets closer to us.
"When is Adrien picking us up?" She asks moving her sunglasses in front if her eyes.
I turn to Alya with a glare and she just shrugs. When she said she would be inviting friends I actually thought it'd be friends and not Chloe. Last time I was around her she was saying how grateful I should be for getting a chance to date Adrien before he finds someone better.
"You invited Chloe?" I ask completely okay with saying it in front of her.
"She's bribed me with beach chairs," she says.
"And I'm an amazing person," she says making me roll my eyes.
"He should be outside by now," I tell her anyways.
I'm okay with Chloe coming as long as she doesn't ruin the beach for me. This is supposed to be a non stressful going away party for Alya. I don't really want to worry about someone flirting with my boyfriend. I know Adrien wouldn't flirt back but he's too nice to push her away.
We all walk outside and see Adrien helping people into cars. Alya literally invited half the school. I just didn't think Chloe would be part of the half that would come.
"Mari, before we go," Alayna says pulling me aside from everyone before I can go over to Adrien before Chloe.
"What?" I ask looking over her shoulder for Chloe.
