~Beautiful Nightmares, or tragic reality? {40}
                          
"Dinah!" I screamed.
                          
My head hit the top of my bunk when I woke up in a cold sweat. I looked around. All of the girls were safe and sound in their bunks. None of them harmed. Except the fact that they all exploded out of bed and came to me.
                          
Tears blured my vision and a warm hand slipped into mine. I look into Dinahs eyes. They are beautiful. Loving. 
                          
"You okay Laur? Its okay. It was just a nightmare."
                          
"I dreamt that we had our choices taken away." I say breathlessly. I dreamt I fell in love with you Dinah. I dreamt that Camila and Normani were together and that a crazy evil lady named Jennifer was trying to kill us-" I rambled.
                          
Camila smiled and smoothered my hair down. "Its okay Laur. Its okay."
                          
Normani took my hand and Dinah wrapped me tight in her embrace. Our hearts beating as one. Im not sure why but I really felt something spark between us. Normani watched me carefully, raising an eyebrow with a tiny smirk.
                          
"Ally, Mila, come with me to the store. I think we need more tissues."
                          
"But we need to watch Lauren." Ally protests. Camila nods in agreement.
                          
"We can get food."
                          
They follow her out. Normanis laughter filling the night air. 
                          
Dinah sits across from me in the patch of grass outside where our tour bus is parked. She holds my hands, rubbing the backs of them soothingly. I keep my eyes locked on her. Her head is down and she has a distant vibe.
                          
"You okay D?"
                          
"Hmm?" Dinah looks up. "Oh yeah... Im fine. Are you okay?"
                          
"Your such a bad liar."
                          
"Im just... worried about you." She admits shyly. If Dinah Jane is anything, its not shy.
                          
I tilt her chin and make her look at me. Her eyes sparkle and i see unshed tears in her eyes. She looks so lost, so broken.
                          
"Relax Dinah Im fine, it was just a really vivid and intense dream."
                          
She nods and I wipe the tears from her eyes. "Please dont cry."
                          
"Your right Im so stupid, sorry."
                          
"Dont be sorry."
                          
She looks at me. Capturing my eyes in hers. She leans into me and I shiver. "You cold?"
                          
"N- no."
                          
But Dinah takes off her jacket and wraps it around her shoulders. Holding me in her soft arms. I love the feeling of this. It makes me wonder why Im not creeped out. Maybe it was just the dream about loving her. But I didnt.
                          
Yet when I felt her breath hot on my lips butterflies formed in my stomach. I leaned up to her mouth but she blinked a few times and stood abruptly. "Sorry I should- I'll just- sorry." Dinah murmers as she walks off. Arms crossed and head down.
                          
I smile wistfully, watching her go away. My heart beating fast. Something sparkles on her finger, a ring.
                          
Just like in my dream.
                          
With a frown I hold up my ring finger. A silver ring is on it. A beautiful gold pattern adorning it. I feel a silly smile come to my lips. Written on it is the unmistakeable cursive writing of Dinahs name. The word Okay? On the inside of it. Words echo in my head.
                          
This is my promise to you.
                          
"Okay." I whisper to the stars.
