Shaylee walks out of her shower and ties her hair up into a bun, not knowing what else to do with it. Putting on her clothes, she makes her way to the DEO main room, in hopes of being able to talk to Winn about the technology they use. As she walks out, she sees Agent Danvers looking insanely frazzled and Supergirl, bleeding and bruised all over. At the same time, Mon-El and Naomi walk out from the cafeteria and see Kara in her current state.
                          
"Kara?" Mon-El asks in concern, setting Naomi on the ground. He immediately runs towards the hospital room and Naomi follows right behind him.
                          
"Mama?!" Naomi screams in terror. She has never seen her mother bleed, let alone be this beat up. She begins to weep as she watches her aunt attempt to get her mother conscious again. 
                          
"Hey Naomi come here." Shaylee whispers, pulling her into a hug. "Everything will be okay. It's all going to be okay." 
                          
She lifts up the weeping child and rocks her until she eventually calms down. Within twenty minutes, Naomi falls asleep, exhausted from the constant shrieks. She decides to set Naomi in her room on the ship to avoid all the chaos going on in the DEO. Carefully, she tucks Naomi into bed and turns off the lights, allowing the girl to sleep peacefully. As she walks back out to the DEO, she passes by the cyro-sleep pods and an idea instantly clicks. Running, she gets into the medical ward and advises Alex to put Kara in it.
                          
"It's our best hope. It will be able to maintain her body's current state without having it get any worse. There's a high possibility that it'll even help her healing as well. Alex trust me."
                          
Alex looks over at Mon-El and back at the teen as she contemplates on what to do. Sighing, she nods and they roll Kara onto the Legion's ship. With extreme caution, they manage to get her into cyro-sleep and rely on Brainiac 5 to work his magic.
                          
Naomi wakes up from her nap and finds herself in a strange bed. Instantly, she hops out of it and makes her way out, hoping she'd find someone around. She spots Shaylee in one of the rooms and heads that direction. Before she could make it to Shaylee, a set of arms pick her up and she immediately buries herself into Mon-el's chest. 
                          
"Hey babygirl, let's not go in there." 
                          
"But Shay is over there. Why can't I see?"
                          
"Because Shay is working on helping Mama with Auntie Alex and Brainy. They need to focus." Mon-El sighs, hoping she'd buy the act. "Mama is going to be okay I promise. How about we go home and take a nice bath and watch Wizard of Oz?"
                          
"No I'm staying here with Mama. I'm not going home without Mama." Naomi replies, on the verge of tears. 
                          
Naomi runs out of his arms and makes her way over to Shaylee. She walks into the room and finds her mother in a glass tank. With tears forming in her eyes, she walks over to the tank and presses her three fingers on the glass.
                          
"Three beats."
                          
Two fingers. "Two of us."
                          
One finger. "One heart."

Alex grabs Naomi by her hand and makes her way into L-Corp. The last two days have been insanely stressful and she could tell that it was taking a toll on Naomi as well. The kid needed something else to focus on besides her dying mother and luckily, Lena Luthor stepped in and offered to take Naomi for the next few days until Kara recovers from her "surgery". It also gives herself, Mon-el, Shaylee, J'onn, and Winn the focus they need on restoring the city and Kara without worrying about Naomi. 
                          
"Honey look at me for a second." Alex states, bending down to her height. "Now you know not to talk about your Mama's condition with Auntie Lena. Remember she had to go visit Grandma because she's sick okay? We don't want to scare her about the injuries from the battle."
                          
"Okay."
                          
"Alright. Be good for Lena and I promise you, we will get your Mama back. And you know that I-"
                          
"Never break promises. I know Auntie Alex." 
                          
"Good. I love you Naomi." 
                          
"I love you too." Naomi states, pecking her aunt's cheek. She walks up to the front desk and immediately, Lena's assistant scoops her up and brings her to Lena's office. Immediately, Lena smiles at the sight of the child but it fades as she gets a closer glimpse at her. She was exhausted. Her usual bubbly and radiating personality has turned into a tired and gloomy energy. 
                          
"Hey Alison, would you mind coming back tomorrow for this discussion?" 
                          
"But Miss Luthor-"
                          
"Alison. I will get back to you tomorrow." 
                          
Alison grabs her things and leaves the room, with a fuming face. Lena shuts the door behind her and walks over to Naomi, picking her up. She takes a seat at her office chair and holds onto her niece, hoping it'd give her some comfort.
                          
"Bubba..." Lena coos, stroking her hair. "Everything will be okay..."
                          
They sit together for awhile longer until Lena decided Naomi could use some extra cheering up. She takes an early lunch and takes Naomi out to her favorite spot, Monster's Ice Cream. Lena buys the kid the biggest fudge sundae they had and together spilt it, hoping it'd at least get her to smile. 
                          
Naomi recognizes what her Auntie Lena is trying to do for her and plays along. She puts on a smile and giggles every once and awhile to keep Lena from looking at her like she's a lost puppy. After their sundaes, Lena could tell Naomi is on the verge of falling asleep and decides to bring her back to the office. She carries a sleepy Naomi up the elevator and sets her down on the sofa. Immediately, Lena gets back into work and focuses on her laptop screen. Naomi wakes up and finds Lena hard at work on her computer. Taking the blanket, she walks her way over to Lena and makes her way into the CEO's lap. She rests her head on Lena's chest and slowly closes her eyes as she feels a warm kiss imbedded on her forehead. It might not be her Mama's cuddles but Auntie Lena's will just have to do.
