Song is Burn by Ellie Goulding
Victoria POV:
"Hey, wake up." I whispered, shaking the dark haired vampire. Riley groaned and rolled over only to be met with the large stream of light coming in from the window. I'd made sure to open that before trying to wake her up. Her eyes squeezed shut as she tried to keep the light out, but ended up rolling back over and opening her eyes.
They narrowed at me as I walked over to her closest. "It's too early to be awake." She commented, looking at the digital clock which said '8:30' in flashing red numbers. I opened the door to reveal the assortment of outfits Leigh and I had gotten for Riley at the mall. It was quite a collection of things, but Riley had told us she didn't have a particular fashion and had liked all of this.
I grabbed out a sparkly black top and scrunched my nose, why had we allowed her to get this? "How do you feel about a dress?" I asked, pulling out a peach colored summer dress and showing it to the vampire who had managed to sit up. She shook her head and pointed at the top, jumping up from the bed and snatching it from my hand in a blur of motion.
"This and," she trailed off as she pulled a pair of black jeans from the hanger, "this." Before I could try to talk her out of that hideous shirt, she'd already disappeared into her bathroom. I rolled my eyes at the door and turned to leave the room.
A bang interrupted my walk back to my room and I found myself stopping in my tracks. "Get out!" Jenna was shouting at someone and I found myself happy she knew about everything. She reminded me of myself which meant she would be pretty kick ass in the world of the supernatural.
"Jenna." I tensed up at the sound if Alaric's voice, it didn't take long for me to realize it was him she was telling to get out. "Jenna!" This had to be Niklaus, I knew it would be. Here he was trying to stir up more trouble, I was just glad Elijah was downstairs. He could easily take Niklaus if he were inside Alaric's body.
"Get out!" Jenna repeated and in less than a second I was down the stairs, eyeing the I ruder as Jenna aimed a crossbow at him. Like I said, kick ass.
Alaric held his hands up. "Jenna, put the crossbow down. It's me!" He insisted as Damon, Elena and Stefan joined us in the front room. The three of them locked eyes with me before allowing them to trail to the main focus of this moment.
"Stay away from me!" Jenna ordered, adjusting the crossbow which she wasn't holding properly.
Elena held her hand up in a pausing motion as I looked around for any other vampires. I knew Leigh would still be sleeping, she was a heavy sleeper. Sylvester was drinking which left Riley and Elijah who'd yet to show up for this. "What's going on?" Elena question Jenna and who I assumed would be Alaric. He wasn't acting like Niklaus.
"It's me, Elena, I swear." He held his hands up in a surrender position as I eyed him with the utmost care, waiting for any shift that would tell me this wasn't Alaric. "Okay? He let me go." And there's the shift, Niklaus doesn't let people go, not ever. "Klaus let me go."
Damon took a step forward, his gaze almost as skeptical as mine. "Prove it."
"Okay-uh-" Alaric paused, think of a way to prove to one of us that he was no longer being possessed by Niklaus. He raised his hand to Jenna. "First night you and I spent together, Jeremy walked in right when I was about to-"
"Okay!" Jenna exclaimed, interrupting Alaric's sentence, probably for the best. I doubt Elena would want to know what was happening on the first night Jenna and Alaric spent with each other. I'm sure the feelings were mutual throughout the room. "It's him." Jenna dropped the crossbow and I took it from her hands before she could accidentally shoot her foot or something.
