All my years of not doing running in gym were coming back to me. And I didnt care. I ran as if there was no tomorrow cause there might not be. I remember being hidden in the trees, watching Dinah and Normani. Watching Jennifers back up guards knock them out with rocks.
                          
Lauren and Ally ran behind me. My yearning for Normani was all that kept me going. It seemed like a dream. We found Jennifers mansion. Guards everywhere. The Council seal on the wrought iron gates. 
                          
"We have to sneak in." Ally said.
                          
"No need." A guard comes to us. "We'll take you inside."
                          
Those were never good words. One look at Lauren and Ally and we took off running. I darted right through the double doors, Ally took a side left door, and Lauren ran around the back, dodging the men with grace I hadnt known she posessed.
                          
When I entered it was eeriely silent. The house consisted of a bunch of long corridors, secrets entrances that were obvious and not so secret, and a bunch of random junk. A table with berries were set out. I walked around for a bit. Not daring to call out anyones name.
                          
In a good 15 minutes I was lost. Until i heard voices. I walked around and found Normani and Dinah sitting silently in a room. Both their hands bound. A giant lifesize hour glass in the center of the room. Two burly men stood grinning at them.
                          
"You girls are so stupid. She extended grace and chances to you and you threw them back in her face."
                          
Dinah swallowed hard and Normani remained expressionless.
                          
"Do either of you know how it feels to drown?"
                          
"Like you cant breath." Normani replied and Dinah snickered.
                          
"Watch your mouth Kordei."
                          
"Well I cant see it. Can I have a mirror?"
                          
Doofus #1 laughed and handed her a mirror. She was looking straight at me through it. Dinahs eyes flickering to mine before back to them boys. They knew I was there.
                          
"Like seeing your pretty face before its pale?"
                          
"Your not that bright when it comes to threats are you?" Dinah asked calmly.
                          
"And you arent as smart as we thought. Jennifer warned us of you." Doofus #1 crossed his arms, the mirror reflecting a bit of sunlight. 
                          
Normani flashed a smile. "You realize Lauren Camila and Ally are coming."
                          
"Theyre already dead sweetcheeks."
                          
"Is that so?"
                          
Both of the mens faces dropped slightly.
                          
"I think your bluffing, i think your trying to break us. News flash. Weve been breaking forever now so why dont you throw us in your cliche hour glass while we wait like damsels in distress for our baes and then we defeat you, go home, and get laid."
                          
"Normani!" Dinah said blushing.
                          
"Well I know Lauren already did you...."
                          
At that I giggled and Normani stiffened. Mistake.
                          
I scolded myself. The men looked around. 
                          
"Shove them in quick!" Said Doofus #2.
                          
Normani was escorted to the hourglass top and Dinah shoved in a water tank.
                          
"Maybe if you had read more youd know this is from Divergent."
                          
Dinah smiled. "Book fan eh?"
                          
The man was silent.
