It was around 8:20. Ashton met Luke's father once again and they had had dinner. It was amazing. They all were laughing and learning new things about each other. Both Luke and Ashton exchanged soulful and loving glances which little did they know, Luke's father noticed. But he didn't care, god no. He was proud that Luke had finally found someone. 
                          
Ashton was like Luke's father in many ways. He fell in love with a uniquely beautiful person. Luke was just like his mother.
                          
"Thank you for inviting me to dinner." Ashton speaks as they both sit on his driveway. 
                          
"Thank you for saying yes." Luke smiles with a short laugh. He loved the night they had. The dinner was amazing and his father loved Ashton. Which made the fact they were together even more better for Luke. 
                          
Luke hugged his knees slightly. It was chilly. The cold front had mostly gone away but at night it heightened. 
                          
"Oh you're cold! Here, have my jacket." Ashton quickly said peeling off his coat when he sees Luke subtly try to warm himself up. 
                          
"It's okay-" Luke stops himself when Ashton already draped the larger coat over his shoulders. "Thanks." Luke chuckles. He was still a bit cold but it wasn't anything big. He could take it. 
                          
But Ashton was too good. He scooted closer to Luke and wrapped his arm around his shoulder, rubbing his hand along Luke's arm to create some warmth. "Do you believe in soulmates?" Luke suddenly spoke. 
                          
Ashton thinks a little. Has he? "I didn't." He admits truthfully. He believed that people do fall in love. He liked to believe that there was a destined person for everyone but he never actually believed it. Until he met Luke. 
                          
"Didn't?" Luke questions tilted his up to face Ashton. He always believed in soulmates and 'the one.' I mean look at his parents. They were meant to be together. And they will be together again. One day. 
                          
"Well, I don't know." The hazel eyed boy shrugged facing down at Luke unknowingly batting his eyelashes adorably. "You meet people, experience new things. Your views change." He explains softly, his arm still around Luke. "You're a big part of that equation." 
                          
"I am?" Luke tries to fight his smile. Finally. He has his missing piece. Ashton grins at the blonds reaction. 
                          
"Yes. Yes you are." He responds placing a soft kiss on Luke's temple. Luke blushes, nuzzling more into Ashton's embrace. 
                          
The day was long but it was amazing. 
                          
There they stayed in each other's embrace staring up at the night sky. Nothing could be better.
