We were in the middle of the play. My scene with Xukun is up next. I don't know what Seungkwan told him to do but he better not kiss me in front of the teacher.
                          
"You better not do anything stupid, Cai Xukun." I muttered beside him.
                          
We entered the scene and acted out our parts.
                          
This was it.
                          
He pulled me closer, "Stop talking Naeun. For once, just stop."
                          
He leaned in and I can't push away because THAT'S WHAT THE SCRIPT SAYS. He would kiss me but -
                          
I THOUGHT HE WAS JUST GOING TO KISS ME ON THE FOREHEAD BUT HE FFHHDHJSHSH. WAIT THIS ONE ISN'T ON THE SCRIPT!
                          
I felt Xukun's lips crashed on mine. I closed my eyes and melted into the kiss. Well, we needed the grade so I had no choice.
                          
I heard a few cheers and claps from the room. His lips were soft and tasted like strawberry. The feeling was also familiar. Like I've experienced it all before.
                          
"Xukun, kiss me."
                          
"I don't want to steal your first kiss, Xinyi,"
                          
"Just do it,"
                          
I pushed Xukun away from me. "Why did you do that, Taemin?"
                          
More importantly, what did I just remember?
                          
"I- I-" Xukun stuttered, still in character. "I'm sorry."

Long story short we got the highest grade. Vernon and Yoojung also pulled through and the emotions Seungkwan was referring to bloomed out.
                          
We were now having a celebration at our favorite cafe.
                          
"Guys, I'm crying, we are so high quality!" Seungkwan cheered, holding a glass.
                          
Vernon started teasing him, "Stop it with your high quality already, I'm sick of it."
                          
"Vernon," Yoojung flicked his forehead. "Seungkwan helped us get a good grade so you better thank him."
                          
The latter scoffed, "I don't owe him anything."
                          
Changbin must've noticed I was quiet because he asked Doyeon to switch seats with me, "You okay?"
                          
I fiddled with my fingers. I haven't talked to Xukun ever since the play finished. Good thing he was sitting far from me or I would've exploded already.
                          
"Yeah, I'm fine," I lied, nodding my head.
                          
I wasn't fine at all. My heart is beating so fast and all my thoughts are jumbled up. 
                          
Did Xukun really steal my first kiss? If he did, when? When did it happen? Because I can't remember a thing.
                          
"You know I can see through you, Xinyi. What's wrong?"
                          
I sighed, knowing I can't lie to Changbin or I might as well try but he always know what's up. I smiled at him, "I'm just in awe. I can't believe we got the highest grade."
                          
"Right?" Doyeon said from the side, putting a piece of cake in her mouth. "You guys are so good! Have you ever tried acting?"
                          
"I, myself, have tried auditioning for PLEDIS as an actor," Seungkwan told us honestly.
                          
Yoojung laughed, "Pledis entertainment? What'd they say?"
                          
He frowned, it was probably a bad memory. "They said I was too much of a diva and that they'd call me back if I got in."
                          
"Did they call you?" I suddenly asked, avoiding Xukun's eyes. He was just listening in on the conversation.
                          
Seungkwan shook his head, "They never called."
                          
"Oh, that's okay boo," Doyeon said, patting his arm. "They'll call you, just wait."
                          
Vernon laughed and pointed at Seungkwan, "Tell them how long it's been since you auditioned."
                          
We faced Seungkwan who just looked down and mumbled two words I swear was the cause of our hysterical laughter, "Three years ago."

THIRD PERSON POV
                          
"I can't believe he did it," A boy around Xinyi's age muttered. "He really did it,"
                          
"What are you gonna do now?" A young girl asked, looking around incase someone was listening. "He finally made a move."
                          
The boy gritted his teeth. "I need to make my move, too. I'm not letting him get Xinyi."
                          
"Just tell her that you're ready and let's hope fate is on your side."
                          
"Thanks, Yoojung." The boy smiled, squeezing one of her shoulders. "You always pull through for me."
                          
"Of course," Yoojung smiled. "That's what friends are for."
