**SEMI TRIGGER WARNING**
Waking up doesn't sound that hard. Waking isn't that hard. Now, waking up next to the first guy to touch you after staying up all night talking and laughing and watching random movies on Hulu, that seemed a bit scary. Especially since that boy was in the shower and Daisy was only wearing her underwear when she woke up. Daisy rubbed her eyes as she sat up on Jace's bed and she instantly felt the cold. Grabbing a blanket and quickly wrapping herself in it, Daisy felt a hint of deja vu and smiled to herself. She slowly slid off the bed, still wrapped up in the blanket, and walked over to the bathroom. Slowly opening the door, she could hear him humming softly. Daisy dropped the blanket and slipped into the shower with him. Jace turned around and saw her and shook his head.
"Wait your turn missy." Daisy pouted and joined Jace under the hot water. Jace tried to leave the shower, but Daisy whined and grabbed his hand. He slowly eased back into the shower and helped Daisy wet her hair. His fingers trailing down her hair, down her shoulders and soon grabbing her hands and holding her wet body close to him.
"Oh, I thought you didn't like the idea of showering with someone."
"I shower with, like, thirty guys on a daily. One girl won't kill me." Daisy turned her head and Jace followed her, reaching down and kissing the petite girls lips. Happiness, it's a funny feeling. The way your face feels after smiling for so long. Or how your stomach feels when you're around that one person. Daisy thought all the cliche happy feelings and love feelings were trash. She still tried to say that were fake, even though when she was in Jace's arms she felt them all, just a thousand times worse. Jace told Daisy to wait for him, and then he left her in the shower. After he left her alone in the shower, Daisy washed. She started with her hair. Massaging her head and thinking about Jace's words to her. "Live in the moment and feel everything." She didn't know how to take these feelings or how to feel them. Happiness was quite foreign to the ghostly girl, but she knew what it was and what it felt like. Jace made her happy, Jace made her tingly. Jace was a missing puzzle piece or a misplaced one. Daisy's head was crowded with thoughts but she noticed that Jace was gone far too long. Daisy finished washing, and she stepped out and dried herself. She slipped on her underwear and the oversized sweater from the night before. Once semi-dressed, she peeked out the window and she saw Jace talking to Kacy. Daisy watched as Kacy casually touched his arm and how she was inching closer to him, and he was letting her. Daisy watched as Kacy's lips were moving slower and her face was growing closer to Jace's. Daisy watched as her hand slowly moved down Jace's arm and lightly sat on his hip as she reached up and kissed Jace slowly. Daisy looked away as their lips touched. Daisy didn't look back out the window. Instead, she left the window open, and she went on her phone and sat in the corner of the bed. All she could think about is all that is wrong with her. Everything about her that she would end up piling on Jace if they were together, She started to think back to when she was falling apart and how he left her. She started thinking about the nights she slept in front of the toilet because she didn't want to keep her food down. Then she thought about how much she'd hurt Jace and how much more he deserved. How he deserved a picture perfect princess like Kacy and nothing less. Five minutes later, Jace walks into the room and his eyes first land on the window. Then straight back at Daisy.
"Daisy." he started and Daisy looked up at him. She had her eyebrows raised and a tight smile.
"Yes?"
"You know," He again tried to speak but Daisy spoke first.
"Bro, it's fine. We aren't, like, dating or anything. And plus, a football player is supposed to date a cheerleader. It's basically a secret code of honor. I'm just a toy, I get it." She quickly looked back down at her phone, noticing that Ryan texted her back.R: On my way, please be dressed.
"Daisy. It's not like that. She just," Daisy stood up and she put a finger to his lips. She trailed her hands from his lips to his cheek, down his arm, then she lightly sat her hand on his hip. She leaned in and she whispered lightly.
