Chapter 16
Tyler and I walked the streets of Boston probably looking like two lovey dovey teenagers. We walked to a little park near the harbor and I was taken aback. The water was gorgeous I couldn’t believe 30 years ago this water was contaminated badly.
“So do you like?” Tyler asked
“Yeah it’s beautiful.” I replied
“I found this place the day I came to Boston.” He answered wrapping his arms around my waist from behind me
“It reminds me of the lake back home.” I quietly said thinking back to a really nice memory
“Tyler my dad is going to freaking murder you!” I yelled at Tyler
“He’ll never find out I promise.” Tyler replied
“When our asses get grounded don’t come crying to me.” I told him
“C’mon the lake is awesome and I only have a couple of days left.” He replied
He was pulling I don’t have much time left card on me again.
“Fine.” I said grabbing my phone
“See isn’t this nice. Looking out at the lake with me.” Tyler said
“You ruined the moment by talking you know that right?” I asked him sarcastically
In one swift motion I was on my back and Tyler was on top of me staring at me.
“Admit it you love the position we are in now.” Tyler told me kissing my forehead
“Get your fat butt off me Seguin!” I yelled
“Love you too Addi.” He sarcastically said getting off me
“Thanks Ty.” I replied getting up and kissing his cheek
“So I wanted to tell you I’m sorry about Natalya. I had no idea she was going to be there and I’m sorry.” Tyler told me
“Tyler it’s not your fault. You broke up with her and she was just jealous of what we share.” I replied
Tyler sat down on the grass and I sat down on his lap and rested my head on his chest. I could hear his heart beat. The same heart beat that used to make me feel safe and put me to sleep.
“So are you gunna go see Dr. Bay?” Tyler asked rubbing my back
“Yeah I made an appointment to see her tomorrow at 3.” I replied putting on my Ray Bans
“That’s good I just want things to go back to normal as normal as we can be.” He whispered in my ear
“You and me both.” I replied
“Are you sure you want to go to Horty’s party?” he asked for the millionth time today
“Oh my God Tyler if you ask me one more time I will smack you.” I told him
“Okay I’m gunna take that as a yes.” He replied laughing
“Oh God I’m dating a man child.” I giggled
“You love me admit it.” He said
“No I’m in love with this guy name Taylor Hall.” I replied laughing
“Really? What’s he like?” Tyler asked
“Oh he is really nice and he is amazingly hot but not as hot as this other NHL player.” I answered
