Loud pants and whines echoed through the practice area, the Seventeen members scattered in the room, finally being able to take their break after a long practice. Joshua and Jun passed out the water bottles with the help of DK. Jeonghan and Seungcheol stood a little further away from the rest of the guys, more like S.Coups isolating the angel from the rest of the boys with a only few members noticing. "I'm not the only one who sees that right?", Wonwoo questioned, nudging his head towards the two eldest members. Mingyu, Hoshi and Woozi looked towards the direction Wonwoo was talking about, "you're most definitely not the only one", Jihoon acknowledged the fact that their grown up of a leader was really going for the first place affection receiver. 
                          
Hoshi chugged a bottle of water, burping afterwards, "he's really asking for war, look", Hoshi pointed out to the other side of the room with his now empty bottle at the other members glaring at their Seungcheol hyung. In no time all the members noticed too, Dino was just right about to jump on his Jeonghannie hyung monkey style, but Mingyu was quick enough to catch the rascal. The fly and swoop scene was barely noticed by the two elder members, but they turned around right on time to see Mingyu bear hugging Dino on the floor. This earned questioning looks from the older, "I'm not even gonna ask", S.Coups commented, shaking his head, "guys gather around for a second", mama Jeonghan announced as everyone quickly closed in, trying to show the angel that they were good at obeying him, then maybe he'd praise them. 
                          
"Remember the meeting your Han, Shua hyung and I had earlier?", everyone agreed, "so we discussed that Seventeen's releasing a Director's Cut before...", Seungcheol continued but stopped as the three elders drum rolled causing everyone to raise their brows. "Before we go to Seoul", Jeonghan stated in excitement, while everyone just questioned their hyung's excitement due to the obvious fact, "hyung we're already in Seoul...", Vernon spoke up.  "For vacation, then after that we're heading to Cali for a secret shoot then... we have two weeks off", Joshua's pause gave the others a nerve wrecking feeling, but the smile that appeared after the 'two weeks break in California' caused loud cheers and shouts of joy in the practice room. 
                          
"Okay okay kids, settle down. We're all gonna have a meeting with Doogi PD but Soons, Jihoonie, Jeonghannie and I are staying a little later for another meeting-", the leader announced, but Jeonghan interrupted, "wait, why am I staying?", Jeonghan questioned, Hoshi and Woozi we're staying which made sense due to the fact that they were unit leaders along with Seungcheol being the hip hop unit leader and the actual leader of Seventeen. So it wouldn't have made any sense, though he didn't and did mind at the same time.

                          
The members filed into the vans, Hoshi and Woozi already in the meeting room while Seungcheol and Jeonghan conversed shortly with Jun, Joshua and Wonwoo, who were the next older members of Seventeen with the ones staying for the meeting gone. "You already know the drill", S.Coups spoke out, the boys responding with nagging agreements in a joking matter. Before they could hop in the van, Jun, Joshua and Wonwoo playfully hugged their S.Coups hyung, only to hug their Jeonghan hyung next. Seungcheol caught onto the idea a second too late as the van's door was already sliding to a close, inside was the boys with their sly smiles, waving good byes. 
                          
"Punks", Seungcheol muttered under his breath, "what?", Jeonghan caught on but couldn't clearly hear what he was saying, "oh- I said let's go", S.Coups slung his arm around the younger's neck, guiding him towards the opposite direction of Pledis Entertainment. "Woah there Coups, where are we going at this time?", Jeonghan questioned but went with the flow, "somewhere", Seungcheol replied. 
                          
"Wow, thanks Coups", Jeonghan lightly scoffed in a playful manner, "don't worry, Hoshi and Woozi already know, we'll be back soon... I just wanted to have some alone time with you-", Jeonghan broke off suddenly, standing in front of a somewhat bewildered S.Coups. "I swear, Seungcheol if this is about the stupid competition?", Seungcheol's eyes widened, "no no- wait, how long did you know this was going on?". "I realized it right when Chan started acting all sweet, surprise surprise, but Minghao told me just yesterday. I was planning to talk to all of you guys about this-" S.Coups interrupted grabbing Jeonghan's shoulders, "wait stop, you got it all wrong. I mean, well- yeah this whole competition thing was happening... but that's not why I wanted to get you alone, that's not it", the younger sighed, "then what is it?", the angel looked up at the older.
                          
"This has been running through my mind like crazy... I feel like this stupid competition's making Jeonghan think I've been playing with him. I haven't been completely clear with my feelings to him... and it's just making my whole image waver too", Seungcheol explained, his head leaning against both his palms, he needed to grow up now and fix things"hyung just go", Jihoon sighed and nudged his head at the door. "Just go, go take Han hyung to the park we always go to when we want to escape from all the training, tell him what's up because none of us want anything bad to escalate", Soonyoung shooed the eldest out of the room.
