Messiah walked down the street holding Jay's hand, for the last two days they've been spending time together. Everyone else seemed to be wrapped up in their love life, Messiah never tried to be that person.

Although it seemed like all she did was spend time with Arvonti that wasn't a hundred percent true. She balanced her relationship life with her friendships. She'd make plans with everyone and lay up with Arvonti or go out with him, when shit was simmering.

She was a touchy kind of friend which was why she was holding Jay's hand. She didn't understand why she was that why, she just guess it was because she liked showing she cared and wanted to see who cared back since before Brooklyn no one cared for her. Maybe it helped her feel safe and comfortable too.

"You wanna go to Junior's?" She asked as she looked up at Jay. Junior's is a diner famed for their cheesecake on Flatbush Ave ext. "You got some Junior's money?" He asked as he looked at her. "As a matter of factly I do." She said. "Really?" Jay asked. "No, but Jay I really want some of their spicy french fries." She whined as she gripped his arm.

"Stop whinin you know I'ma pay fo you, Mae Mae would beat my ass if I didn't." He said as they crossed the street. They walked down a few blocks and turned a corner. "How's Xyair, you going to li-" "Nope, I said three weeks and I meant that. He's like Arvonti, he loves to argue and has no problem fighting or nothin."

Messiah giggled. "I think what you're doing is nice. You took him in." She said as they walked into Junior's. They took a seat in the booth by the window. "Arvonti's first trial is tomorrow." He said. "Scared?" Messiah sighed. "Why is everyone trying to talk about his trial, I don't want to talk about that!" She hissed.

"Damn, aight. What else do you want to eat?" "I just want fries." "So if I order a lager plate of linguini you won't try to eat it?" He asked knowing damn well he knew the answer. "What if I order both the chocolate mousse cheesecake and devil's chocolate cheesecake?" "Okay order it damn Jay, that's not fair." He smiled at her.

"You scared to have a baby?" He asked as he poked her stomach. "I don't know, I guess I just don't wanna be seventeen and pregnant. It's not that there's anything wrong with it it's just that I can't pick up a damn blunt and do anything. I can't fuckin do gym and that's my favorite class outta the whole damn fuckin day."

She started. "Then there's the fact that I'm with Vonti and I apparently gotta be in every hoe conversation, imagine what they finna be saying when they catch on." Jay nodded his head feelin where she was coming from. "You do be havin hella hoes talm bout you, but it's yo every day hoe-ly gossip. You shouldn't be worried about what they say pregnant or not, they just mad that Vonti only got eyes for you and not them."

Jay shrugged. "You shouldn't be sweatin em shorty." "I'm sweatin a lot of shit Jay." She said with an eye roll. "Will stop, bein worried is causin stress and you pregnant so you shouldn't be stressin. These hoes ain't shit Messi, you got straight A's so chill a lil, and Arvonti always got some up his sleeve wit his corrupted ass, he aight."

Messiah smiled as she laughed a lil. That was the best thing about Jay, he was a goof ball but when he was serious he was super sweet. Plus everytime he cursed or talk shit it just sounded funny cause he had a certain tone. "Have you talked to him?" She asked. "Yeah he called me yesterday. Did he talk to you before?" Messiah shook her head.

"I was hoping he'd call today, I just wanna know that he's okay." She hiccuped. "He sounded different." Jay said. "How?" She asked. "He wasn't hurt right?" Jay shooked his head. "It's Arvonti, he just, you ever heard how he sounded when he had too much on his mind." Messiah made a face as she thought back to when things went down with Sanchez.
