After the events that took place in New York City, all the Avengers were gathering around, saying their goodbyes for the meantime as well as waiting for Thor to take Loki back to Asgard. But before they could do that, Clint stepped towards Loki, staring at him with a blank face as he sat there in S.H.I.E.L.D.'s interigation room. 
                          
Clint only had a little bit of time before everyone would come for Loki and his removal from earth would be enjoyed. 
                          
"Ahh what do I owe the pleasure Agent Barton?" Loki smirked as Clint then entered the room. 
                          
"Nothing." Clint smirked at him slightly. "I just thought I'd enjoy your imprisonment a little bit longer before Thor takes you back to whatever hole you crawled out of." Clint crossed his arms before standing across the table from him. 
                          
"Oh are you saying you won't miss me while i'm gone?" Loki smirked. "I'm deeply hurt." 
                          
"With you gone, Katherine can finally go back to her old self." Clint said, glaring at Loki. 
                          
"You think just because you get rid of me, it'll help your friend. You're wrong. I'm only a symptom of the disease, not the cause." Loki started saying until that's when two S.H.I.E.L.D. agents along with Thor came to bring Loki out so he could return him back to their homeland. As Loki was being taken away, he turned around to look at Clint one last time. "From what i've read through her mind, it seems like you're the real root of her problems..." 
                          
Clint was about to make a move towards Loki but that's when one S.H.I.E.L.D. agent stepped in his way, holding him back. Loki just smirked as he was being dragged away, leaving Clint there, more furious than ever....

All the avengers were standing around, watching as fellow Avenger Thor took Loki and the Tesseract back to Asgard. Everyone then said their quick goodbyes before leaving their seperate ways. 
                          
As Clint climbed into the car with Natasha, taking off another completely different way than their fellow avengers. As they were driving, Natasha looked over at Clint. 
                          
"So what will you do now with our little well deserved vacation from S.H.I.E.L.D.?" Natasha asked Clint. 
                          
He looked over at her before looking back towards the road. "I have some loose ends I need to tie up." Clint then proceeded to look down at the file Natasha had handed him earlier they got in the car. He started flipping through the file, which in return was Katherine's file from Fury's private section, which Natasha had managed to get for him.
                          
He flipped through the pages, reading everything Fury had on her and couldn't help but be horrified at the results he was now reading and learning from her.
                          
"She's not the same person you remember Clint. She's changed, she's different, she's dangerous." Natasha started explaining to him. "Maybe the Katherine you once knew and fell for is gone..." 
                          
Clint stayed quiet for a brief second until closing the file and putting it into his bag. "You don't turn your back on someone you love....even when they're begging you to.." Clint turned his head towards Natasha, offering her a warm smile. 
                          
"You might not like what you find when you do find her..." Natasha told Clint, trying her best to convince Clint that going after Katherine is a bad idea. 
                          
"When you find something worth fighting for, you don't just give up because it gets hard." Clint smiled slightly before opening the car door and getting out, walking towards his own car parked on the side of the road which he was going to take and track down Katherine.
                          
As he waved off Natasha, he sat there in his car, starting it before driving off. Clint pulled out a picture from his pocket, putting it on the dashboard as he looked at it. 
                          
A picture he had of Katherine from when they first met. He had taken it the night that he left to go leave S.H.I.E.L.D. for her but that was before deciding it would be safer for her if he stayed and through them off her tracks. 
                          
"I'll find you...and bring you home..." 
                          
Clint said to himself before driving off and starting his personal mission to find Katherine... and get her back.
