It had been around three months. Three months since he left to America. You couldn't say that you had forgotten him completely because that would be a lie. 
                          
But you did manage to get over his absence a little. But he never left your thoughts. It was difficult for you to come back to your normal lifestyle without him in it, but you had supportive people around you who made it slightly easier. 
                          
You couldn't thank them enough for that. 
                          
You were doing well in university and even made a few new friends there. But no one could compare to Somin and Jungkook who had been great shoulders to lean on when you were facing a difficult time. 
                          
You thought you had finally gotten over Hoseok until yesterday when you received a note. Some stranger had come knocking on your door when your parents were out and had handed the note to you. He said that Hoseok told him to give it to you. 
                          
But why now? 
                          
The note reminded you of him and you felt like you had to go through the pain all over again. He was making it so hard for you. The note itself... it was clear that he missed you. And if he had asked that man to give it to you now after all this time, clearly he hasn't forgotten you. 
                          
The note had read how much he was hurting and had wanted to see you before he had left. He said that he loved you and did not expect this to be the way to end your relationship.
                          
End your relationship?! 
                          
That's not what you had wanted or interpreted from the situation. You didn't even think about him breaking up with you. But now that you think about it, it does make sense. Because clearly you weren't contacting each other. He had texted you his local number but you didn't want to talk to him that time. 
                          
But now you weren't so sure. 
                          
You were so confused. You were angry too. How can he expect you to forget about him when he just keeps coming back? At least, bits and pieces of him, like this note. Just last week too you were scrolling through your photos when you came across one with the both of you. His arms around your waist and the both of you smiling at the camera. 
                          
It's like how much ever you try, your life doesn't want to let go of him. Memories of him just keep coming back and punishing you.
                          
So you decided that you needed some answers. Just enough to clear up your muddled brain.

"I can't believe you're going through with this." Somin shakes her head.
                          
"Oh come on, you know I have to. And it won't be so hard to convince my parents." You say. 
                          
She gives you a flat look. "Sure."
                          
"It won't be that bad, trust me. I am getting late for my flight now. I will see you in... I don't really know." You shrug helplessly.
                          
Suddenly she pulls you into a fierce hug. "Not long I hope. I will miss you."
                          
You hugged her back. "Me too. Don't have too much fun while I'm gone."
                          
"Of course I won't. And YOU better keep me updated. And whenever you feel like you can't handle it, don't think twice about coming back alright?" She smiles.
                          
You grin. "I won't." 
                          
And with that, you leave for the boarding. You check in as fast as you could and go through all the procedures only to run towards your gate. You pant heavily as you hand in your ticket. 
                          
You sigh as you sit down on your seat, glad that it's next to the window. You haven't been on many flights but you were never scared of them before. This time you were terrified. But you didn't think it was because of the plane.
