Y/N POV
                          
To close the gate was the answer, but in my heart I knew it would put Will and I in danger. 
                          
Could it even be done? Eleven had done it by accident, and it weakened her so much. Plus, now the demagorgon was angry that they had gotten away... Maybe I could help them from the inside? 
                          
And Will was the spy, if he knew of their plans it would all be for nothing. They had to get it out somehow. I know Will is in there somewhere...
                          
I've tried talking to him so many times, but I'm never strong enough to break through the black fog that seems to surround him and grow over time. 
                          
If only there were some way to reach him, then maybe he would be strong enough to expel the monster inside of him...
                          
Eleven's POV 
                          
We got to Will's house just in time to kill one of those demagorgon dogs. I was reunited with Mike and nothing made me feel happier! We missed each other so much, and I told him we'd do all the fun stuff we wanted after we could go through with the plan to close the gate. 
                          
Five was shy at first, but then he won over everyone with his cuteness and charm. Dustin said he always wanted a sibling, so now they were talking about taking him in after all this was done. 
We had to do this, otherwise the darkness that was spreading would take over all of Hawkins. 
                          
Barbara was currently hugging Nancy for the third time and sizing Jonathon up as her boyfriend. Mike and I were sitting in the corner figuring out how to save Will and close the gate. I knew I would have to do it, but I wasn't sure if I could make it past the dogs, or past the shadow monster itself. It knew about me, and Two, and possibly Five... and it was angry. 
                          
"Mike... I need to go back there."

                          
"You can't! There's loads of those dogs swarming there, and-"
                          
"Mike!" I interrupted, clutching his hand.
                          
"I'm the only one who can do this. If Five isn't drained, he can help me. Dad can come with me and... we'll get Two back!" 
                          
"I can't lose you again!" Mike sighed, nearly crying as he squeezed my hand tighter. I faltered, losing myself in his freckles. It seemed these past few years I would come back only to have to go away again. 
                          
"Mike... If we can do this, then we won't have to be scared anymore. Not just Five, Two and I, but all of us... I need to do this." I hugged him tightly as he struggled half-heartedly, then stopped and returned the hug. 
                          
"Be carefuly El."
"I promise Mike." Just then Dustin and Five came through the doorway, and told us to come into the kitchen.
                          
"We have a plan to get Two back... and save Will." 
                          
"And defeat the dem...dema...demgagorgin's butt!" Five finished, leaving us all in a giggling mess. 
                          
"What's so funny?" Five asked innocently, as I shook my head, still laughing and led him into the kitchen to hear the plan.
                          
Time Skip
                          
"Ok, so El and I will go back to the lab and wait for Jonathon's signal. Joyce, Jonathon and Five will go with Will to the old house and force that monster out of him." 
                          
"Ok... so what do we do?" Mike asked at the end. 
                          
"The rest of you stay here!" Hopper ordered, ignoring the groans from the other kids. 
                          
I pulled Five aside and asked him if he was ready to do this.
                          
"I am. I know I can help El!" He protested. I shook my head and thought for the upteenth time how crazy this plan was. Five said he could make people think different things, and read their minds. So Dustin mentioned that Five could help talk to Will somehow, and help Mum and Jonathon.
