**Ellie's POV**"We're here, munchkins. Wake up," I said as I shook Kayla and Kaleb, who were cuddling each other as they slept.
"Muuummmmy, the blueberry cheesecake is gone," Kayla mumbled, half awake, half asleep, and she looked like she was about to cry.
As if on cue, Kaleb sat up straight and pulled her into a hug.
"Hush, Kayla. The blueberry cheesecake just went to get more blueberries on top because you ate it all," Kaleb said, gently hushing her back to sleep.
That's the thing about Kayla. When she’s not in the mood to wake up, she’ll throw a tantrum, and believe me, that’s the last thing we want to happen.
I looked at Saya, who understood she was in charge of Kaleb and our bags while I carried Kayla as we walked down the aisle of the plane.
"Hey," a beautiful woman greeted us. She was probably a flight attendant but wearing a slightly different uniform. I think she’s in charge.
Saya smiled at her, so I think they know each other. Then the woman glanced at Kaleb and handed him a small pack of cookies.
"Thank you, pretty lady," Kaleb said, flashing his dimples.
Oh gosh! My son knows how to make a girl swoon at his early age!
So much for having Mr. Genius’ genes.
As soon as we got off the plane, I saw Elliot, Shawn, Nana, and my two girl best friends, Ciele Lawrence and Via Allistair.
"ELLE!" Via and Ciele cried out and ran towards me.
I passed Kayla to Shawn, and then I met my death...
"C-cant breathe! Easy, girls, easy," I told Ciele and Via as they squeezed me tightly in their hugs.
"Mum, who are they?" Kaleb asked.
The moment he did, Ciele and Via looked at him and gasped.
I know the feeling, ladies. He looks like him—very, very much.
They abandoned me and started fussing over my baby boy. Well, not really fussing, more like coaxing him, but my little boy wouldn't budge. Ah, that cold aura.
Inside the car, I answered the unending questions, and of course, we used the time to catch up since the airport was far from the Crystal Palace Hotel, which would be our home during our stay. I told Nana it was okay if we used the deluxe room, but she insisted on using the VIP penthouse, and that was fine with me since I really love the night sky—and the day sky, too.
My two little munchkins cuddled up again, with Kayla still sleeping from the plane ride. That’s my genes right there.
Nana took out her phone and snapped a picture of them.
"Aww, they are so adorable, Ellie. You've done such a good job raising these two," she said, looking at the picture and patting her tummy.
"Oh, right. Do you know if it’s a boy or a girl yet?" I asked her.
"Na-uh, I want to surprise myself. I'll check when the time’s near," she said, chuckling. "I wish it was twins, too," she added.
Via and Ciele couldn’t stop talking, so I pretended to be asleep, while Shawn kept looking at the sleeping Saya, and Nana kept teasing him.
After about an hour, we arrived at the Crystal Palace Hotel.
The moment we got out, there were many reporters outside. We all looked at each other, confused. Elliot asked if we could use the personnel-only door and called the manager, Miss Carols.
We found out that due to a VIP guest arriving at 2 a.m., the reporters had swarmed in to get a scoop.
Well, it was almost midnight, so good luck to them.
We arrived at the floor Nana mentioned, and she gave me our room card.
When I opened the door, my jaw dropped.
GOSH, THIS IS TOO MUCH!
They had popped something, and confetti was everywhere.
"WELCOME HOMEEEE, ELLIE!" they shouted in unison.
I heard a faint cry.
"Oh no," I said as I saw Kayla open her eyes and start crying.

**A/N**: Hey, darlings! Sorry if I cut this one short. I promise I'll give you something better in the next chapter. Any guesses on what that could be? *wink*
